Waiting for the next gen upgrade to dive back into ancient gods part 2. Very excited to see what they can do with id tech. Such an amazing engine with its quality and fidelity

I mean at this point it’s only a matter of time till their first party kicks into full gear. All the years prior I really didn’t wait for ms first party to have anything ready to go because they really didn’t have any first party output, it was only halo and gears, that’s what I came to them for, Sony was alway the one with the better first party output, still is, last gen for Xbox was a disaster on the first party front. But things are different now, those 23...
Lol is it surprising anymore?🙄
Yeah ms first party will definitely drop on gamepass pc and console at the same time. And almost always with the play anywhere feature. Should be fine on pc till you find an x for msrp
Honestly ms studios can keep the rest and let them cook it all and show them when it’s done, I just want halo this year and I’m really hoping it’s good.

Right right. But before you went through the branches from the balcony save point, what did you go with on your first run? What did you play it on and how were the bugs? And what would you score cyberpunk after all is said and done.

I choose the storm the Arasaka as johnny end and got the v being the afterlife legend. It seems like the nomad ending with panam seems to be the good ending, while the ending might range from riding into the sunset with panam to the outer space casino heist, both these endings are essentially the same , v is still dying in 6 months in both endings. But they tonally differ so much that the nomad ending is a feel goo...
Oh yeah really wanted to try maneater. And weirdly mechwarrior is only on Xbox and pc right now. Didn’t know that was a console exclusive.
I finally bit the bullet and played through it this week on the series x. The game is still a buggy mess. Feels like it’s being held together with duct tape every step of the way. But I was really enjoying the story and gameplay. The choices you make and how the world reacts to your choices is still best in class of all the rpgs I’ve played.
Up until act 3 I was really enjoying it regardless of the bugs and all but holy shit that ending. In fact all iterations of the ending...
I wish they would surface the playtime of the game on the dashboard. It’s still under the game club —> progress —> stats. Deep drill down of menus to get the playtime stats. They’ve been doing it this way since the start of the clubs midway through the xbone gen.
depends on the dlc, i had a great time going back to outer worlds for the gorgon and halcion helen dlc with the fbs enhancements on series x.
Lol right? Weird, they’re using rt gi and an upscaled 1080p image that shows noising during motion. And framerate dips during alpha effects. But haven’t seen Alex enthusiastic about console games like this before. They’re fans of the aesthetic.
True while games do get delayed especially during the covid era. But me as a halo fan boy I found it especially baffling to pick up a series x with infinite marketing on the back of the box while the game itself got delayed and pushed a year back from launch date. Although it is a testament to Microsoft’s bank balance to allow 343 to take an extra year to get this game done.
If they can get it together and start managing their studios they should be able to pump out one first party game every quarter like clockwork. Those 21 first party studios can get the exclusive games drought to end. This might take time though but my concern is Microsofts management of these studios. Considering 343 couldn't even manage to get out halo on the new consoles launch date.
Compare this to sony and already Miles morales, Demon souls, sackboy, astros, return...
Totally although would love for them to focus on 30fps to 60fps conversions. I finished far cry 4 after the FPS boost. Doing the 60 to 120 is nice but not everyone can appreciate the framerate on their TVs
Amazing game, loved the story
Ah that's good, I'm on an lg cx oled so yeah the textures are a bit blurry, 1080p/ 1440p high refresh rate monitors are the sweet spot for this for sure.
I tried titanfall 2 with fbs boost just now, pretty sure it drops the resolution down to 1080p for the 120fps
Considering the others in that genre are state of decays and day z I’d agree with that. Not a high bar though.
I really love the series x, ms has made this into a mini pc boosting old games from fps, textures, resolutions and the auto hdr, quick resume , all these benefits and ease of access stack up, from being able to use my old ff13 save I made back in 2012 seamlessly syncing to the series x today to quick resuming games off of an external hdd from a full power cycle, the tech is truly amazing.
It's really a shame that ms didn't have their first party front and center to...
