It’s pretty logical to assume more first party studios means more first party content.
They go hand in hand. Regardless of ms supporting the games on pc the main question would be if that first party content will be top tier or not.

Yeah totally agree. They have potential. Hope they can deliver. MS has not been afraid to delay games like infinite at the last minute. Hopefully it’s a sign that the execs are willing to let studios do their thing. Atleast with regards to 343. I just really want them to step away from gears and halo for a bit. And build new ip.
Okay I like the optimism but those games need to show they are top tier. Think of where sonys first party is right now. The quality of those games. Ms needs to compete with that. So far only the coalition has been consistent for Xbox.
Ms needs to fix its first party content. Once they can do that they’ll have a stronger foot hold. Hopefully their studios deliver.
Halos quality will only be known when it comes out. It is quiet mismanaged development but if it delivers a great campaign it would be great for Xbox. I am more curious about the initiatives ip. After 10 years the games Xbox is waiting for is still halo, fable and forza. New ip and fresh blood needs to come out of first party. Make or break generation for Xbox.

I will agree on this, most of the top tier games that come out I would buy day one. I don’t see myself , like you, waiting for it to come to gamepass. Is outer wilds still on gamepass. You should try that also. And yes I also played gears tactics because I tried mutant year zero on gp, eventually I played xcom 2 when it came to ps plus. I bought yakuza 7 coz of yakuza zero Kiwami and kiwami 2 on gp. Things like cup head and ori and ori 2 would have never finished or played any of these if I didn’t have gp.
Yoh I can’t disagree more with you on this. I’ve been subscribed to gamepass and psnow for about 2 years and gamepass is leagues ahead. In variety, quantity and quality. Just this week They released haven and doom eternal (pc). And haven just came out and got a great review on ign. Actually gamepass is the opposite of stingy, I’ve tried and fell in love with more genres through game pass.
Ps has the exclusives but for anyone on a reasonable budget I’d recommend Xbox with game pass first. PlayStation is the home of top tier killer exclusives but that’s usually about 2 games a year.
