Yeah man really sucks. Cdpr pulled a fast one on majority of its consumers. I saw that their stocks fell after all this. Which is good. That is some shady stuff they did hiding this mess during the launch.

You’re buying stuff before seeing how it actually plays and runs on consoles. CDPR actively avoided showing it on base consoles they only showed it running on the next gen consoles, pro consoles and pc. I had a series x on the way so I expected it to brute force it’s way to something stable....
Yeah this sucks that the preorder culture allows them to get away with selling people unfinished products. But you get what you pay for.

Indeed indeed it’s all preference. Glad you’re enjoying it. Reading that it has multiple play throughs and endings maybe you can jump back in to it when the next gen updates have been added too.
Yes true, it is a higher res and locked 30, but the frame rate from 60 to 30!! My next gen eyes cannot process this compromise anymore. 😅
So I got my series x yesterday and have been playing this on it. Honestly I’d rather just stop because it stil feels unfinished. Using performance mode you can see a lot of haziness on hard edges while moving the camera from the antialiasing and image reconstruction that cdpr is using. Most likely the original image render is sub 50% of actual 4k on performance mode. The 30fps mode works fine but the hit to the framerate from 60 is just unbearable for me. It loads stuff fast and generally run...
Finished this on steam. The game takes a while to get into and get used to but once you figure out the systems and how to make choices based on your inner thoughts it’s great. Definitely keep an eye out on this one. It’s hyper focused and small scope but the breadth of possibilities and choices are truly impressive. Great get for Sony. I wonder what deals were made to secure this on PlayStation.

Um for me it’s because of the ecosystem , backward compatibility and gamepass and ofc being able to play halo in 120fps. And I can finally finish ff13 in auto hdr that I’ve been playing on my one x. 😅
Also I play on pc and thanks to things like play anywhere I can switch between both platforms whenever I want. Like in yakuza 7 which is hella convenient.

It is an add on for sure but I liked miles more than spiderman proper, simply because of how tight and focused it was compared to the bloat in the original. Its add on status works as a positive for the game. More so than something like first light.
Technologically speaking you’re right, Apart from Demon souls there really isn’t much showcasing the power of these systems. And everything is cross gen on Xbox right now.
The lack of in-house games really dampen the enthusiasm for Xbox. Thinking about how halo was supposed to launch last month considering today’s news about its next year release it’s baffling what’s happening over there.

Right but maybe the Xbox version is extra broken on disc I mean. Most likely the pro version scaling to ps5 bc system might be more stable. They’re patching it to fix stuff right? I mean logically. That’s the only reason.
Maybe the xbox version is coming in super hot? Also there is a performance vs quality mode spotted in the series x bc version. Maybe they tweaked it and fixed more bugs on that system? Not long till we find out.
