My point beeing, and correct me if I'm wrong, the 360 hasn't even reached 1 million sold units in Japan in it's 3 years on the market, PS3 has no rpgs to date and it's still selling more than the xbox in Japan. Rumour has it that Sony is going to unveil some rpgs at the TGS, that would boost Japans PS3 units.
The xbox offers the jrgps Japan wants and it's still not selling that well. That is my point.
Yes, you don't understand the point of streaming, you watch while you are downloading, so let's say the download would take 90 minutes, the movie is 90 minutes long, you start the download and can watch it right away because it would finish at the same time it's finished downloading. This is streaming. Well at least it's one way to explain it, it works slightly different but that explanation does it really.
Technically you are right, but BluRay has the capacity to hold such a movie and is now a standart for movies and soon games. A HD resolution video on a CD would be like 3 minutes long so if you refer to HD movies, it's BluRay now.
I do not agree with you regarding xbox winning this gen, it's dead in Japan and Europe except for some sales spikes. I am from Europe, and things here are different. You need to think out of the box because America is not the world. Microsofts primary goal has always been beating a company on a business level, that doesn't include customers, they don't care if you are happy with their product or not they just want you to buy it. The more elegant way would be offering more than the competition, MS just tries to shut down the competition leaving the customers no choice but to buy their product if they want to play on a console, in this case at least.

Nope sorry, I don't have one. But I guess it will be as good as regular photos with the Eye, you can scale everything up to Shadow of the Colossus size so I doubt they would only allow low-res pics.
LBP roxxors your boxxors! I was one of the lucky 5800 people who got their beta key yesterday from EuroGamer.net and I've been playing it almost nonstop since yesterday. Already created my own level.
It's so amazing what you can do in there, for instance I've created a Rocketsled :D. Everyone that still has doubt about it, very good advise: BUY IT DAY ONE! It's worth it.
PS: Creative-smoking break over, back to creating levels :P.

Listen the PS1 had a 2x CD drive in it, the PS2 a 4x DVD drive, the PS3 a 2x BD drive. Last time I checked the PS1 and the PS2 have legendary status in gaming history so what is your point? The drive speed is enough to handle the data the installs are just boosting loading times a bit. I mean you have a HDD in every console so why not use it? The 360 has a 16x DVD drive and it scratches discs when you lean it slightly while running.
And if you think that 2x for PS1 and 4x for PS2...
ericldn: Same here. I also tend to get the PC version if my box can handle it, it does ATM. I also own a console, a PS3 to be specific. Some great games are PS3 only, and after owning both the PS1 and the PS2 (They still work) I was sure I wouldn't be disappointed with the PS3 as well, just look at that kick ass holiday season lineup and the months ahead.
Sad the PC has lost it's momentum as the King among the gaming platforms.
