Are games not grand.

call me silly but Uncharted 1 was better than 2. Yeah they had some nice set piece scenes in 2 but overall the original still trumps it in my book.

Honestly, it's hard to beat LoU so equally as gripping, enjoyable, exciting, overall just as good will be suffice. Not everything has to be better. The problem is expectations place undue burden on what was lightning in a bottle. Tabula Rasa, that is what everyone should take going into any game be it a new IP or sequel.

Insider trading? That seems a bit far fetched. Seems me to that is a bit overreach. Now if a company was going under and they sold off their shares that would be another thing and a big no no but in this case, pretty weak.

The only way to stop it, is as a company buy up all the stock they can. In this case Ubi, or one of it's major stockholders would have to come up with the money to buy up all available stock to prevent Vivendi from holding majority stake. I'm not sure exactly how IPOs work or if there's regulations regarding how many shares must be made public, etc but as a company I would want to retain at the very least, 51% of the shares to hold controlling interest. Therefore it is not possibl...

In all honesty I've never been much for DLC period. Though recently I have grown more open to, have purchased Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Dark Souls III (though I'll likely wait to play until all DLC is released) & yes, even Destiny despite the fact this year was even a bigger mistake than those of past. Personally I would love to see games release as complete package again. Also it's one thing to release DLC that extends the play of a game and a completely different thing to...

My only two complaints are her voice and the fact they didn't name her Cidny.

imho that's always been the case with Sony. Stronger lineup. Xbox has fooled me twice now. Not again. I need substantial offerings before I bite a third time. While those experiences were great it wasn't enough to warrant dropping $300-400 on a console. Though for Lost Odyssey alone I almost wish I'd have kept my 360 but at the same time, would I have ever even played it again? probably not, when there's so many great games always dropping it's hard to look back.

XV is a good game. Perfect, by no means. Overall, based on what it is, easily what I'd consider an 8 by any unbiased outlet. But as I've been saying for probably a decade or longer, gaming journalism is itself a joke.

That said you are certainly right. Likely my biggest gripe, and one of few, is how slow the Regalia moves. It feels like it's going 30 MPH tops and takes far too much time. This is one aspect that desperately needs to be adjusted via patch. It sho...

& Lost Odyssey. Probably two of the best I've played since VII. Course Eternal Sonata, SMT Nocturne, Disgaea 3, Star Ocean TTOT, and so many others were great.

Anyway top 5 lists are moronic. As if you can clearly place five of any games in one genre above all others. Better off making a top 10-20 with no ranking. Top 20 must play JRPGS or something. 2 cents.

actually this is leveling regularly. Just taking advantage of food the game allows you to make/use and an Inn that gives most bonus XP.

it had potential written all over it. When they showed this at E3 (?) the trailer was incredible and had potential all over it. Aside from Coolboarders, SSX, Amped (XB), & Shaun White there hasn't been anything worth noting [imho] and there's definitely a market here. SSX captured a small portion of their original glory in their last game but that was 2012. Even then it lacked a lot of what made SSX so incredible with SSX & Tricky; perhaps even SSX3. Shaun White wasn't tha...

Silent Nights.

Seriously though, title is somewhat irrelevant. Gamers are in the know. Just need some marketing to bring it to the attention of everyone else who isn't hardcore and/or who don't keep up on gaming news. Then it'll become that well known, highly acclaimed, niche, must have, whatever franchise or series.

you can't go around waiting for handouts. I'm hungry but only have $20 so instead I'll wait until McDonalds gives me a free burger instead of buying one? Who cares if they're offered for free at some point? You paid $15-20, enjoyed the crap out of it but because it was free 8-24 months later it's lost some perceived value? The value of these games is what you get out of it relative to what you paid. Unlike physical copies you can't go around selling these.

While I agree seeing KZ or Knack would be nice, even though KZ was my launch title & I still have it, masses would still cry. Especially about Knack for being a kiddy game or a million other reasons. That said Stories is a great addition. It looked amazing and at one point I broke down and bought it on sale pretty cheaply. I think a lot of people will enjoy Stories if they give it a chance.

I do think that being 3 years old now some older titles should be considered or...

probably something stupid like not having it set for the right screen size or the setting on the tv itself set to zoom. That been ruled out?

The release date and Black Friday killed sales. What was Ubi thinking not releasing this game in October and scooping up a ton of sales via those $35-40 Week long Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales? Imagine how many copies would have sold this past week. Amazon wasn't even ready for a lot of these sales having sold out in no time and later putting some of the games up for the same price but not available for a week or so. Some great games and remastered/re-releases that were just released th...

soon as they announced the game I ordered it. Soon as they announced this edition I canceled my order. Absolutely had to have this CE. Can't wait!

rather drink Chocobo piss. Guess Target needs every edge it can get to get gamers buying at their store. Should've went with something a little more original than yet another Jones soda for a video game

just glad I still have my NES and most games I want. Though the tiny little bugger will likely be mine anyway once I'm able to buy one.
