it's a good thing, but it's also long been reported, across a variety of industries and websites, that currently the system is ripe for and full of abuses. From fair use strikes, to matters like the one reported in this article. It's clear the law needs some tooth to punish bad actors and that parameters need to be set in how reports are filed; ie human review of said content and not some AI bot false flagging stuff. As is the system is far to easily abused by those who have motiv...
Legend of Heroes is goat.
Now that the Calvard arc is wholly released I've recently started Through Daybreak. At least I believe I read this arc was 3 games. Anyway, not sure I'll be a glutton and play through all 3 in a row like I did all 4 Cold Steel games, but will definitely be wrapping these up this year. Also can't wait for Sky Chapter 2 to replay those in their updated glory. truly an epic tale and it will be a glorious yet sad day when this series finall...
that's only an issue if you're looking to cash in on MTs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a great single player title not maintaining players.
I'd be good with a DQVIII remake next. Xenogears would be dope AF, though...
really wanted to play DQVII:R at release, but I just couldn't wait. Now that all three games are released I finally started Trails through Daybreak last week. Not sure I'll play through them all in a row like I did with Cold Steel I-IV, but still... might be a while before DQVII gets some playtime... should have my copy next so it'll be ready to go when I am
vaporware. and even if it isn't, the game likely isn't going to be what fans want. Ubi needs to stop tripping over its own dick. idk if it's Yves or any number of other people/things going on, but Ubi went from a golden goose to golden poo in a decade. They really need new leadership
there appears to be two versions. One that provides a code electronically and one that specifically states it does not include a game code. It is weird that they decided to put that disclaimer at the top of the other products page, though, as it should only be listed on the page for the no game code edition.
further down the page covers the game code
"Digital game codes, including pre-order instant rewards, will be delivered electronically within 24 to 72 hou...
for the small price of 1 million dollars you too can own your own sentient AI robot.
I do find it a bit ridiculous, this notion that games are going to maintain peak player counts. Sure some people will play a franchise or perhaps even a few games at any given time, but a lot of gamers are going to jump in, play their fill and move along. That's just the way it goes, but logical and sensible are two things the world seems to lack. The games that can maintain high player counts are the anomaly, not the norm. 2 cents
thanks, I'll have to check out The Hundred Line
didn't even realize No Sleep for Kaname Date released last year.... I stumbled on a [console] pre-order for it the other night and immediately placed an order. guess I should check Steam a little more often lol.
Anyway, the two previous AI: The Somnium Files games are excellent so looking forward to another journey. Also a great reminder of why one should step out of their comfort zone from time to time. might love it, enjoy it, hate it or anything in between, but one ...
been hearing that one for about 15 years now
tell us you're completely ignorant w/o telling us you're completely ignorant. Or is it the copious amounts of hateraid you drink on the daily. Maybe cut that back from gallons to ounces. Might do your body some good.
and your dads buying power was probably twice what it is today. The price/cost alone says nothing.
It's like you want to people to praise the absolute minimum. Putting a game out that runs good is something that is to be expected, not praised. Imagine going to a burger joint and praising the cook simply for slapping a burger on the grill and not f'n it up. You can not nor should you praise what is to be expected.
that being said, the use of the word "effort" in the headline is infuriating. Let's just say they got the job done ffs.
I don't think it's necessarily GAAS. Games have become so bloated and long... I just spent like 2-3 months playing through Lords of the Fallen 3x. Oddly enough each NG+ run only took a week. I spent like 2 months playing Metaphor Refantazio, etc, etc...
Instead of ripping through a game in 1-2 weeks I'm spending 4-8 weeks with a lot of stuff. All single player titles. As games grow so too does how long players engage with them. Where as during the PS2 era games...
@Huey - you make many assumptions. I was simply pointing out a fact.
do you purchase gas? you're supporting Saudi Royalty.
sure they'll have licensed apparel somewhere, I imagine....
I always felt like the PS Gear Store was a missed opportunity. They had some terrible design choiecs for tees, and other clothing, items that you'd expect for free at an event and just weird items that made me scratch me head... was there a market for some of it, maybe, but they could've done so much better overall...
just a friendly reminder that MS wanted to raise rates by 50% several years back before backtracking after the blowback that was received.... this was long overdo and something we all saw coming. As others have mentioned, it won't stop here either.
as a PS gamer since the jump.... Fuuuuu you PS and a double guns blazing F you to management!! This the type of studio you take advantage of, not shut down. What kind of inept bs is this.
