Are games not grand.

I'm no MGS guru but it seems to me Hayter has no case. *Spoiler* There is a replacement Snake in MGSV. The real Snake only makes a brief appearance. Considering how the game plays out it makes perfect sense to me why Hayter was not voicing Snake in MGSV

that is my problem with gaming journalism. Opinion should be taken out of the equation and the object itself reviewed for it's merits. If I want an opinion I'll look to my peers. From gaming journalism I expect a professional standard that relates to the product, not how the writer perceives it.

$70 over 6 mo. That gives you an extra $20 for tax or toward a game. Say approx $67.50 /mo for 6 to get you just the PSVR.

Even those who think they're broke can easily come up with $50-70 /mo to save up for something they want.

no doubt. I can definitely see a group sticking with it but a vast majority will dump this game in no time. After a week of milking play I'm a bit bored with what it offers. Typical Ubisoft repetitive Encounters, Missions are weak and few, Side Missions aren't terrible but again, repetitive, small map. This game doesn't have half the legs Destiny has. Plus technical problems. Lag popping up, tons of pop in all week. It's not a terrible game, it is fun and a decent game it'...

I'm not going to hit disagree but... in regards to,

"there is a false perception that because a game is made by an 'independent' developer, it is a sub-standard game."

I don't think that gamers feel indie equates to sub-standard. We just don't see indie as being full retail games. The ones that require cases, discs, paper. Which is another subject but digital shouldn't cost the same as retail. Anyway Indie came to be, on co...

Goldby,

while that's true it's trivial variety. Some of which should have been thrown into the character customization screen. Not variety in game play which is what matters. Scopes, other accessories, once you get further up there I doubt there's going to be enough advantage to grind for a new scope, handle, clip, and so on. Unless there's some elusive, NM that spawns once a day and drops a piece that has a significant boost to a stat. While it is kinda neat...

tweet reads: "Every gameplay image I've seen of No Man's Sky looks like it could take place on the same planet. 'Infinite universe' eh? I don't see it."

thank you captain obvious. You are Ex of what and employed where now again? Maybe he's trying to get his job back at MS. Publicity grab tweet. How is this news? Ex someone of XB says this... geez...

Personally I'm not on the hype train. this is definitely not a game ever...

tired of the Destiny Grind for The Division grind. Sounds like a winner Lol. That's the problem with these games. The repetitive grind gets old. Either that or lack of content, no goals to chase, etc. Destiny had several modes to mix things up though the way they went about DLCs and lvl caps made the realization of the grind hit way too early and often. Anyway with The Division I'm afraid that grind and game will get old incredibly quickly. For others it'll be everything they want...

I'm with ya Pump.

I just don't see there being content, end game content to keep The Division interesting. Ubi said something about the DLC last week. One of them takes you into the tunnels of NYC. I think the game will be solid I just don't see it having legs to maintain players interest.

With or w/o reviews Ubi knows that reviews can only hurt sales. Those who on the fence can wait. Having bad reviews before release could result in a lot of can...

I'd say Kate Hudson has more of a shot than Lindsey Lohan on that one. Course the image does look like a hundreds+ of blondes across the country.

Some interesting ones I'd forgot about or never heard about. End of the day they're almost always rubbish.

yes it was. Replayed the Chinese (English) and the NA version twice last year. The day Atlus announced they were bringing it to the US is the day I received my copy Lol. I knew it was a game wasn't going to bring to the US so I hastily bought it. It definitely shows some age but still looks decent and more importantly it's still a fantastic game. I'd love to see that remastered and play through it a few more times. Course the same can be said for Dark Souls. By June I'll be lo...

I've been saying this for over an decade. Gaming journalists need to write an unbiased review regardless. If a game isn't for them perhaps someone better suited should write the review or they should learn to write their piece based on the content, not their opinion. A gamers opinion is subjective and we all have our own. However a gaming journalists opinion is often irrelevant so the review should be written on the game itself, not how the person writing feels. All too often some so ...

problem is do they come free if we already bought them or do they tack on trophies and charge $16 like FFVII?

One of my problems with digital, such as PS titles, was always how far do they go? Like physical copies you still need that machine to play them. Obviously, in an ideal environment any PS game we buy digitally can be brought with us to future consoles. However, would licensing even allow that? It would be nice but just like consoles in the past I can still play games...

according to the article the loot trading only allows players in group to trade items picked up during their time together. So if someone robs a corpse and someone else wanted that item they can now trade it. Or for whatever reasons. Based off the article this only applies to items dropped during and while in squad in play.

I don't think that's the problem at all. I see it twofold. One being necessity and the other being confusion. Necessity in that who needs it for Remote Play, to play Vita games on their tv, and so on. Confusion being exactly that. What is it? What does it do? And so on. Guess there could be some other issues. Price. Marketing. Price wasn't terrible but back to necessity. Do I really to spend that much for this and is it really useful to me. Lack of marketing. I bet a vast majority...

idk, both Demon's and Dark Souls are very close for me. The fluid world layout, level design, enemies, bosses, there were so many incredible things about Dark Souls. Overall it was such a perfect game. Where as Demon's Souls, while every bit addictive and great was just as epic but in a different way. Because how they are both set up they are extremely different Souls games in all the right ways. I place them both high. Demon's Souls is that great dungeon crawler while Dark Souls ...

why use that money to persuade publishers? Why not open some new studios and create some great new content or keep your own IPs flowing a little more steadily. 3rd party support helps for those who only have a Nintendo system but the real seller is what games Nintendo can offer that others can't.

Guess part of the problem with custom rims comes in the form of licensing? Volk, Enkei, Oz, American Racing and so on. Then there's complaints if they can't get a deal for certain manufacturers. Or would this cause a problem with the current licensing from car manufacturers like Ferrari in game? Wonder how much each rim manufacturer requires to be licensed for a game.

In a simulation it's imperative to me that they offer not only my 350z but Volk wheels to replic...
