Are games not grand.

to each their own. Personally I thought Drive Club was a solid game and I had a great time playing it. As PS+ member, for $20 w/ the Season Pass it ended up being a steal. Do I have some complaints or suggestions, sure. But overall it was a good, fun game and that's what matters.

while technically not a "Souls" game it is a Souls like game from the developers of. Yes the combat moved to offensive based, there are no bonfires or swords in the stone, instead of collecting souls you collect blood echoes, and so on. You can make all the arguments you want and get technical about this or that. Fact of the matter is this opened the door for so many gamers and that is what's important. While it doesn't carry the Souls name it was quite a refreshing new IP t...

My concern with all that power is size. if it's too small does it have adequate cooling for all that power? The concept and details were interesting in the article were interesting. Though some very trivial and overall useless. I fail to see the need other than pure addiction or laziness that requires you to synch your phone with your console to answer calls and/or read texts.

Personally I think Nintendo really needs to work on their first party development studios. Expa...

there's the problem. You're comparing the approach Ubi has to Bloodborne and Fallout 4. If The Division was a single player game I buy your argument. They've said enough, we know, I know exactly what I'm getting. However the fact that it's a squad based game with online features being the real selling point, the end game to keep us playing and entertained... Oh wait, yeah, if they actually announced their plans and lack of content end game they'd lose a good 25%+ of th...

Brohan, I definitely agree to some extent. Though at the same time can we call these Betas what they are, a weekend demo/server test. It does baffle me that some can say there isn't enough there or I'm not buying the game now based off the beta. Not all games can give you the full enchilada for gamers to play in the beta test.

However, I think the real issue here is that Ubi is not talking about and/or not allowing the gaming press to talk about what is truly in stor...

proper ventilation is definitely important.

Love the dust cover suggestion in the article. As if that actually makes any real difference. It's the dust being sucked through while using the machine. Or the dust being sucked through while using it because you never clean. You can keep things dusted and clean but there is always going to be dust being sucked into the device.

can we stop calling it Next Gen already. It's current gen, has been for over 2 years now.

@ Utalkin2me

while Win10 is actually software it's what MS is selling as their PC Platform. No? MS advertises it as coming to X1 and Win 10. Call it what you want but Win(insert#) or Windows refers to PC and PC is a platform. However you might want to tell MS they're marketing software (games) for software (OS) when they should be marketing and selling software (games) for a platform (OS). Or does MS consider Win10 a platform and not an OS? Fact is it's what MS i...

apparently I can't win any. Top choice hasnt won any of these votes.

side note: is it just me or do these 8 Bit retro style games look like crap? Not sure how they're made but... shouldn't the characters at least be in 8 Bits? wouldn't that actually look better and more authentic? I mean my NES doesn't look half that bad when I fire it up and play Mario, Excite bike, Kid Icarus, Contra, ect.

you can't expect full games on a 2 year old console. give it time. regardless it's still a bonus. They could charge the $50 and give you nothing like MS use to all those years

reminds me of this one game, what was it..... Yeah Destiny! Has Potential, could have been great, ect. Granted Destiny was still a solid game with flawless mechanics but in the end it just didn't have the content. My concern with The Division is just that, content. How long until it gets old. Surely there's more than Dark Zone, Open World and PvP right. I just don't see Dark Zone or end game holding my attention like Destiny did. I was questionable and the beta did sell me that it...

I agree Nyxus, the story in MGSV was quite good. I also think to some degree it was somewhat unfinished. I think if given more time Kojima would have ironed it out a little more. But it was actually brilliant, just not a typical and what people expected.

and I would say that sums it up perfectly.

thing is back when fighters were arcade games and games were more about arcades in your home, to some degree. It wasn't the grand scale stuff we play now. I think in part what we play and what we expect has just changed so much. In part that has pushed games like fighters aside for many of us. We'd drop quarters playing fighters and other games so when you could have one at home and play against friends...

No doubt. You don't play games to only enjoy or play part of it. You sit down and spend that time with them to experience, enjoy, play, have fun, accomplish, etc, all of it. Granted some games just aren't that good or I lose my interest in (sand box) but if I'm going to sit down and play a game I'm going to finish it. If it's that bad or I've lost interest I don't feel I've failed, the developer has but if I quit for any other reason, indeed, I have failed. <...

indeed. the mechanics and game were spot on in Destiny

In regards to enemies. I think they're referring to the fact that there were different enemies. Granted it was still limited. With The Division you have what? Running around killing nothing but humans? Or will there be infected that become monsters, abominations, perhaps something like clickers in Last of Us? While Bungie didn't create enough variations and enemies in the grand scheme of things there was some vari...

lol explains the look. thought they went through a lot of work to get that detail into wood. thanks for clarification. same point though. sits the Primal theme more than marble or slate would have.

then again carving a screen into a cave and setting up a slab, etc would have really made this authentic Lol.

would have looked nicer but would not have fit Primal as much as wood. 2 cents.

they're giving it away. Just bought it a couple weeks ago. As a PS Plus member it's only $19.99 w/ the Season Pass. It's disappointing to some degree the lack of non Euro cars but overall the roster is thick, the Tour and DLC packs provide a TON of game so it's hard to complain about a great game with so much to offer costing $20. At least they have the 370z and GT-R.

I do dislike the stupid rain effect on the camera lens though. Makes no sense for water drop...

I still enjoy the gameplay. It could use a face life I suppose but the gameplay is my least concern/problem.

You are right in that it seems illogical that these Assassins kill everyone in their wake. IF I recall they tried to create more assassin type moments in the original AC. I do think there needs to be some balance but there does need to be more opportunities for true assassination where you can kill the target in stealth or bribe/blackmail (think poison, other opportun...
