Are games not grand.

the same can be said about so many other things today. I'm a bit of sick of it myself. Especially this hard line approach to everything that means something is either great or absolute trash. Everything in the world isn't made or tailored to each individual. You like something, do you, enjoy it. You don't like something, move along, no one gives two shits how you feel. 2 cents.

what privacy laws? maybe overseas, but certainly not here in the US. In the US car manufactures have access to voice calls and text logs that go through vehicles. A court recently ruled they have every right to. How's that for privacy?

No, he bought it because he was forced to. He never had any intention of actually buying the company as was evident in him doing everything in his, and the legal systems power to not close the deal.

lmfao, media matters engineered the results!? Even in their [X] court filing they admitted it could happen. They just don't like the process used which in fact did show what they reported. So GTFO with that bs narrative. Like it or not what they reported was accurate as it can and did happen, and that is a matter of fact even X can't, and didn't argue against in their very own filing...

@BillyCrystals - unless something has changed the article I read yesterday stated these will be sold exclusively at Larians website. Not to say you might not find a seller who has fulfilled by Amazon, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

while I agree the problem likely comes from the text below the headline which states, "Elden Ring’s 2022 GOTY award has seemingly caused a surge in Soulslike titles in 2023."

Elden Rings success had nothing to do with any of these games. They were in development well before Elden Rings success.... it's just a stupid comment on so many different levels. While it's true some developers/publishers seek to capitalize on trends you can't just whip up a com...

Played the shit of this 20 years ago. Getting the Serket ring was epic. Idk how many mornings we spent camping before we finally got the pull and I won the roll upon defeat. It was great solo, but you really need a good link/squad for some of the notorious monsters....

remember those PS2 days where games were lucky to hit 1-2 million. Like that was the benchmark for most good games. Sure there were obviously exceptions, but by and large 99% of games probably sold like 3 mil or less. RPGs especially were often lucky to hit 500-750k which is why a lot of those PS2 RPGs are so valuable today.... Gaming really has ballooned now that it consists of kids from the 80s up through present time.

When people are involved always assume the worst will happen. Maybe not right away but eventually. Mankind is and forever will be its worst enemy.

but w/o using Harry and the subsequent events of the game.... using Harry was part of the lead up to part 3 and the introduction of.... as Norman mentions at the end, get the... which sets up at least one of our villains for part 3. if you finished the game you know, don't want to spell it out and spoil it for those who haven't finished the game.

Though, I will admit I was disappointed, at first, that it wasn't Eddie, but whoever wrote this story did an excell...

@-Foxtrot - idk, I feel like they've portrayed how brutal Kraven is pretty well. You don't need to show death or said brutality to make that point. Through what the game shows, and tells you through voice logs, story missions, etc conveys not only his brutality but his wish very clearly; at least imo and so far.

Also, perhaps not showing it was to ensure the game retained a T rating. Not sure exactly what does or does not dictate a bump up to Mature, but I imagine s...

@MrBaskerville - therein lies the problem with gaming journalism. Opinions are for the people, by the people. The consumer if you will. Gaming journalism should be, and only be, a matter of fact based. A review based solely on the games performance, story, graphics, sound, gameplay.... If one can not remove bias to find and review a game on it's own merits then they should have no place in the industry. There are a lot of games I've not enjoyed, but I can give them credit where it is ...

more like removing redundancies. You don't need a marketing team at ABK anymore, you don't this, that, and a whole lot of other things either. I doubt there will be many, or anymore important promotions anytime soon.

I mean they're working with Nissan to design the interior, not doing the actual design of the car, just the interior. The cars design was all Nissan.

To which I say, I just don't know what's going on at Nissan. I love my 350z, had it for well over a decade now, but this future concept for the GT-R is just plain awful imo. Aesthetically a concept of the future or not it needs to evoke passion, and this is not it. I mean look at concept cars of the past. Those us...

Played that mission last night. The only thing I found annoying was having to shake my controller to activate the can. That was annoying, to me. The side mission itself was great even it was unnecessary.

@kombat- how so? Both are pieces of electronic equipment. Parts shortages and issues are real. Be that vehicles, appliances or any other forms of electronics. The point is that at some point you may not be able to fix something you own in 20 years due to parts unavailability.

yep that portion right there removes all credibility from this review. "the shortage of suit alterations, and the absence of gadgets." Seems to me there are a lot of suits, and 4 variations for many of them. Obviously there are gadgets too. Reeks of someone who either didn't play the game or someone who simply rushed through at least part of the story w/o looking at anything else. Certainly not up to the standards of what I'd call professional.
