FINALLY!!
it's more than mental issues. Societal problems, news, social media echo chambers, etc, etc. there is rarely one answer for something and this is no exception. let's also not neglect the fact that people will do bad shit. Take away the guns then it's knives, vehicles, etc.
that being said, cat is a clown. He just threw video games out there because it's an easy scape goat and a tune that's been played for decades now despite evidence to the contrary
if vinyl made a comeback so too can the great 8 track. Cassette tapes need not apply
AI Limit was great. I'll happily take some more games similar to, better than, different from. Long as they are solidly built and fun to play. Pretty sure there's been 1-2 other games I've played that came from the China Hero project too.
Right. The game is great & everything other MH games are with some nice improvements. I put hundreds of hours in & got the platinum, a first because usually those crowns are such a PITA.
Cars are kind of a bad example. In no small part because Trump tore up NAFTA during his first term to get the USMCA trade deal.
Anyway this trade deal is why parts & some vehicles are built in Canada & Mexico. So the tariffs, in this case, actually hurt American manufacturers too.
Otherwise, agreed. Used as a tool tariffs are used to protect domestic markets but used as a blunt object it only harms us.
Little early for April's Fool jokes.
that being said, idk about ya'll, but my controller gets 0 hours of daylight. I like my bear cave and no light shall penetrate these walls lest I turn to dust.
I thought they did a great job. My only complaint is the generic health bars and possibly some other minor things that made the UI cheap and bland looking. That being said, I somewhat agree that it should've been the original, but whatever. I'm just happy we got it because I've been wanting some of that generations action/adventure in my life and despite still having my PS3 hooked up and having Sigma 1 and 2, I find it tough to play those old games all to often.
Money, money, money. That and probably all the children who missed it. Some of us are just old geezers at this point.
That being said, I'm mixed. I really want games like this to make a come back, but I'm beyond tired of paying for the same game 2+ times. Been there, done that, loved it, but I prefer to seek out new experiences. I guess it doesn't hurt having come off Ninja Gaiden II Black and remembering that you had to fight the camera or that this remake als...
AI was phenomenal; both of them.
Haven't gotten around to playing Rain Code, but I did pick up the LE when it released. Not a genre I care to play often, but fantastic games.
it absolutely shouldn't, but the sad reality of the world we currently live, it probably will.
They killed Pandemic [?] & Visceral for less.
Considering low sales expectations on xb the fee was likely paltry. Assuming there was one. Could be it wasn't worth Squares time & money considering how low sales would be. That's just business.
It all boils down to culture.
Stellar Blade was great, but there were too many great games this year. Rebirth [?], Persona 3 Reloaded, Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, Black Myth wuKong, Astrobot, Metaphor ReFantazio, etc. Good thing I don't have to pick a GOTY because I'd be lost in thought for the rest of the night trying to figure out which one stands above all others. It was an unbelievably EPIC year for gaming. Plus GranBlue Relink, Elden Ring DLC [?], etc, etc. So many great games I ne...
So he's saying Widowmaker is a copycat of Black Widow. /s
make no mistake, they still fall into this trap. Wolverine should've been announced this year, not 2021, and that's assuming we even see it release in 2025. Other times, yes, they hold their cards close to their chest, but this is an industry problem and every stake holder is announcing, at least some games, far too early. Especially, but not limited to Bethesda when they announced Elder Scrolls VI in 2018. Long before it even went into production.
I don't care...
Imagine this. Developer or publisher decides to launch own app on XB to sell games directly to consumers and avoid paying MS a cut of each sale on their platform. I can't see MS being happy about or allowing that.
Why should this be different? The powers that be have determined that x% is to be paid to host the sale of video games on whatever platform. That these closed platforms and ecosystems are for the security of users. Be that Android, IOS, XB, PS, Switch, Steam, ...
Only us RPG lovers know the real struggles of getting a game to open up lol. Although, I would argue a lot of non RPGs are taking far to long to get going too.
I think a challenge coin would've made more sense and been cooler. as for the pricing, all things considered I'd say that's about par for the course these days.
