your most certainly correct. There's nothing like FREE PUBLICITY. Something as dumb and trivial as this will get the presses rolling on all gaming sites, etc.
But enough already please. Quit beating a dead horse. Once an announcement is made then great. It's news. But until then this Rumor and Speculation crap is flat out sickening!!!!!!!
well, I don't recall if it's dubbed Limited or Collector's but GTA IV already has a special edition. At least I believe it does...
Metal Gear has been THE ONLY game to actually offer a truly Limited Edition title; MGS 3 Subsistence.

This reminds me of nothing. Because it was an Admin at the 2k Forums. This is in no way a statement confirming that the game is 360 only. As an admin at the Forum they are not part of the development team, they are not part of the larger operations which make up 2k games. Unless the 2k Admins are game developers/admins then there's not a single ounce of credit towards this comment being fact...
Sony Bravia and Samsung tele's are amongst the best...
Personally the Sony Bravia XBR3 (KDL_40XBR3) is suffice for me. It has more than enough inputs including DVI... The picture is absolutely excellent, and PS360 games and Blu Ray discs look amazing in 108op (or 720p even). Also upscaling via the PS3 looks great in 1080p...
to bad, so sad. This game is still on my wish list. Although I know it's very in-probable that the game will ever see the light of day. I'd like to say I'd give a jewel for it, but that would be pushing it. It's a shame Blizzard had to dump such a long developed project. More so a shame that they didn't deliver as they had originally promised. A little ounce of hope still burns with desire to Ghost released. In no way will I take this as a possibility though. Shame on Best Buy for giving fals...
Ubi does make some solid-great titles. The problem is they've always had a problem porting to the PS3. And here in now lies the problem. The 360 has essentially been the lead build for a lot of Ubisoft's games lately. Even ditching PC builds in favor of 360 as the lead console. But their inadequacy to port isn't nothing new as it took them a good 2 or 3 years to start releasing quality ports on the PS2.
That said I think Ubi is doing their best to release quality ports from sq...
as stated, IGN was only using 720p. I'm running 1080p on my Bravia XBR3 and the games look great. DMC 3, Odin Sphere, and God of War II were the only games I've checked out, but all looked great. Much better than they do on the PS2. Obviously upscaling isn't going to give you great graphics, but running 1080p there's a very noticeable difference. Instead of still using my PS2 as I had planned I'm now actually using the backwards compatibility in the PS3...
Do you really need weekly sales figures? I mean what's the point? There isn't one. How about quarterly sales? or Annual Sales? Even monthly sales are somewhat acceptable, but weekly sales? That's just Pathetic...
got that right...
Need I mention that Stealth Assassins (the original on PS) was awesome, Tenchu 2 blew... and it wasn't until Wrath of Heaven that they developed another notably decent Tenchu. But even that wasn't really all that good, and it certainly wasn't an improvement in any way shape or form other than the graphics were ok.....
My question is. When the bloody hell have you idiots had enough? Both consoles are getting a good number of great games to look forward and play. Why not grow up some and just enjoy both consoles? Is it really that hard as a gamer to enjoy great games? Anyway, these lists are redundant now so lets just leave them be. Furthermore not one has actually been any good and/or straight forward...
Here we go with another prime example that Sega can't develop AAA titles, and they can't polish a game if they were paid to do so... I thought Sega Rally was going to be a great game in terms of game play and fun. Obviously the game isn't going to look as good as previously released screen shots. However, if this is what the game looks like then they need some pointers from the Motor Storm development team. This almost looks like VF5. Pretty at first glance, in the close up shots, but pretty ...
that's a pretty pathetic list. There's games exclusive to PS3 not listed. Isn't Ace Combat 6 now confirmed to be a TIMED Exclusive and not a sole exclusive? Also, isn't Blazing Angels Secret Missions also coming to PS3?
Just for the fact numerous PS3 exclusives are not listed I'd say this a pretty biased list...
the key word is how they say, "as it stands." Meaning they're just admitting they still have no clue how to program the PS3 and it's going to take time before they can achieve this. Understandably as the PS3 has been out for like 6 months while the 360 has been out for 1.5 years... Back to the comment. Which again, is nothing new considering it's coming from Ubisoft. It takes them YEARS to understand the Playstation and port/program games for it. So if anything this is just Ubi admi...
while it certainly sucks a game as such wouldn't have a "M" rating it's hardly a prerequisite for the genre or games. Prince of Persia Sands of Time is one game that comes to mind which proves you can be a fun, clean, great game and have only a "T" rating. Besides, blood and gore are all to often an afterthought in games today. More often than not I don't even notice the details because they've become so bloody commonplace in gaming. I do have to admit though, this certain...
as it stands now 6 hours of game play gets blasted. Even 8 or 9 to 12 hours of game play get dubbed "short" when in some sense they are; at least with great games which you leaving wanting more. I've even heard gamers complain about 12-20 hour games being to short. The bottom line is that just like numerous other topics and gaming there is no happy medium. Gamers will always find something to complain about be it length, graphics, game play, they'll find something to complain about....
First off the article is nothing like the headline reflects.
"The machine's architecture is tricky, and I don't like Ken Kutaragi.” So says Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Blue Dragon....
The architecture is tricky, he doesn't say anything about not liking it. Furthermore if he's against the PS3 architecture then imo he'd be another lazy developer who doesn't care to take the time to properly, and truly utilize it. But that's hypothetically speaking as h...
the problem is that reviews are in fact opinion. Which is in part why gaming journalism is a joke. To many reviewers do place their own personal preference and likes/dislikes into reviews. As gaming journalists they need to do a much better job or ratings games for their own merits.... rambles on about gaming journalists and reviews...
Gamespot.com in general has harsh reviewers, or rather, harsh scorers. They're reviews are normally decent, but their scores are almost unarguab...
3 Huge Months for Gamers?? Why? Because these 3 titles? Only one of which I'll be buying [Assassin's Creed] along w/ a dozen other titles. Halo was cool, Halo 2 was disappointing, and Halo 3, well, I personally don't give a rats ass about, but I'm sure will buy sometime just for the sake of owning it as it's 99.9% surely going to be a must own title.
I find it, for lack of a better word, retarded to state there's going to be "3 Huge months for gamers" simply because ...
