if I recall, when Jaffe stepped down from Sony it was due to the overwhelming amount of work required, long hours required for AAA games while being the lead producer of them. Along with wanting more time with his family. It wasn't because he wanted to be his own boss.
I think Drawn to Death was a great idea. unfortunately it wasn't a great idea for 2014. It was a great idea for the 90s, maybe early 2000's.
I'd say it looks like it has potential. Graphically solid, yes. My expectations are curbed but I am hopeful. End of the day I see this being, at best, another decent-good game that's fun for about a month but lacks the content for longevity. Anything more will definitely be a bonus.
Personally I see this being a problem with all these games though. Developers really need to beef up the world/s and amount of content for games like Anthem, Destiny, The Division, etc....
in terms of sheer amount of software it's hard to argue with PS2. Upon seeing this article PS2 immediately popped into my head but at the same time, PS, PS3 and PS4 are all spectacular and have all come with a ton of great games both first and third party.
side note: I would love to see Shadow Hearts remakes or a completely new title. That game was a Gem. Rather that series.
bad look? I wouldn't say that. Don't get me wrong, I'm a bit pissed Sony is ditching E3. At the very least they could attend as a fan service. Aside from the World Series and baseball in October, personally, E3 is one of the most anticipated times of the year. So I think they should have announced it's going to be a small show that focuses on announced projects and left it at that. Allowing them to showcase games while not setting themselves up for failure or disappointment am...
I understand it's much easier to reach fans these days but E3 is still a major deal for a lot of gamers. As are TGS and the European Show; forget it's name. For Americans E3 is that one time of the year we get bombarded with interviews, videos and updates on games in production. Granted it's also a great platform for announcements which are also exciting but.... if there aren't bells and whistles for the show simply state that before hand to curb expectations. Come in and show...
it was said that Activision convinced Bungie not to release D1 with all it's content. Bungie apparently wanted to release what was the entire game+DLC out the box but Activision said that was far too much content. If that is the case then Activision is definitely to blame. One of the largest issues with Destiny is it's lack of content and business model. Releasing vanilla and pushing out minimal, overpriced DLC with far too little content to sustain the game. If they dropped a game co...
Yakuza doesn't get the recognition in the West to be GoTY. Detroit is probably amazing though I haven't gotten around to playing it. I think it isn't a big enough game for GoTY honors. Though Heavy Rain and Beyond two Souls were two phenomenal games and Detroit would definitely deserve the honor if it holds a candle to those two titles. Fist of the North Star? It perhaps has a cult following but to call that a GoTY contender? That perhaps would be like saying Asuras Wrath should h...
I'd disagree. They did a great job on the original Ni No Kuni guide but anything else I've seen from Prima pails in comparison to the work Future Press does on Guides. However with so much info and user videos on the internet strategy guides have been a dying breed for quite some time now. Hopefully this leads to more work for Future Press and they are able to still produce great guides like they have with Bloodborne, it's DLC and Dark Souls...
that is true. The US wants to tax everything. don't like something tax it. Can't balance a budget, find something new to tax or raise taxes on something. We divert our road funds and can't keep roads and bridges up to standard, let's raise the gas tax.... So on and so forth.
It's absurd just how far reaching or ok it has become. I'm all for taxes and understand the necessity of but the Fed, State and local governments really need to spend w/in means...
they told the Dr the same thing they told me. we're not filling it. Believe me, I've spoken to them and the Dr. And I plan to call Corporate and the State about this. Apparently they're not well educated pharmacists? My cousin is a pharmacist and he couldn't believe the audacity and absurdity of this. It use to be pharmacies, you know, did their job, fill medications written by Doctors. Until certain pharmacists starting overstepping their bounds or in some cases claiming reli...
because everyone on meds are drug dealers right. dumbass!! some people, including myself have legitimate problems and actually take our meds responsibly.
@ Optimus, Meijer is a chain store just like Kroger, Walmart, Costco, etc. They offer a variety of things from groceries to house hold items and electronics and yes, also have pharmacies.
I refuse to shop at Meijer. After months of using their pharmacy suddenly the two pharmacists there decided they were going to refuse filling my prescriptions. Unfortunately there's nothing on the books in my state forcing pharmacists to fill medications but still, that's their bloody job!!!!! The Dr knows my conditions, treatments, etc... And it's hypocritical of them to deny me when they fill others prescriptions for the same meds and approx doses...
you lost me for there for a minute with wasn't FFXIII. But I got it now, it wasn't Versus XIII. Anyway I absolutely loved XV but it did feel hallow due to DLC being focused on side characters, at least imho. It was still great for what it was but since it revolved around Noctis only....
Also, isn't the studio Tabata is running owned by Square? Perhaps it was someone else or another company but I thought SE owns or at least has a deal with Tabata's company.
didn't they originally say it was going to be 3 episodes or parts?
at this point they may as well just start planning to make VII Remake a next gen launch title.
typical SE though. Announce something in pre development or early stages and then proceed to spend another 5+ years developing it. I'm all for them taking the time and spending the money to make a great game but for the love everyone, don't go announcing every new game in development when their in their infancy of development.
there's so many memorable and amazing games this gen to call this a clear cut but it's definitely among the best.
on a side note. This pic looks like it was taken from the Amygdala boss room. If memory serves correct that is. So likely this guy here was transformed into Amygdala for the final game. Who is much more menacing looking, maybe, than this guy. Either way, wish this one made it into the game as well. Perhaps in a Chalice Dungeon instead of flat out cut.
No doubt. It's absolutely stunning what a great team with finances and time can pull off with current hardware. KH3 is looking absolutely beautiful and I can't wait for 1-29-19. Also it really makes me want to see complete Remakes of the original 2. The remasters are great but seeing KH3 worlds. Oh my!!
On another note. I started Red Dead 2 a couple nights ago and that too is mind blowing; 4k HDR on Pro. A completely different look but the environments, lighting ef...
having played it roughly 12 hours last night and a little today I will say that so far it certainly doesn't feel like a survival game. I've eaten twice when at camp, once just now after having spent several days in game just rolling along with missions. I will say the pacing and tedious time spent traveling has been burdensome & is a bit of concern atm. Overall the graphics, game, and narrative so far have been dam good though. Granted it's still early but so far RDR2 is a mas...
Says no one.
Yep, Sorry, What? delusional.

I agree. However when you're talking a major publisher, or scratch that, simply a respected IP such as Fallout there is an expectation that the product will be reasonably decent and perform adequately. Which are two things 76, among others, just doesn't appear to do. When publishers create a hit IP they owe it not only to...
