Sony already owns Funimation and that has never been included with PS+ so I don't see it happening for Crunchy Roll.
The thing is, I know many have said this now, but Sony Corp is divided into several sub groups all independent of one another. Because of this I'd imagine the gaming division would have to strike a financial deal to offer Crunchy Roll, Funimation or any other Sony owned service. At the end of the day these are all i...
true, Sony has a variety of divisions that all work independently of one another & are their own division/group w/in Sony Corp. In business it's common to spin off divisions for finances and whatever other reasons. I don't recall the actual structure Sony uses and things sometimes change but yes, the streaming & entertainment/picture/movie studio side is independent of the Playstation/Gaming division. Just like how the music division is a branch not under the PS/Gaming umbrell...
free flowing booze. Stop, say no more, that explains everything. The last thing at a work event should be alcohol. Especially the free flowing the type.
you do realize the Olympics were in Japan right. If you're referring to past or upcoming Olympics in China then.... for starters China made concessions last time the Olympics were held there and weren't committing these large scale atrocities at the time. Now now not only is it Uighers [surely spelled wrong], but Mongols and others as well. as for Coke. idk specifics but it's possible these sponsorship deals last more than an individual Olympic. Coke has been a sponsor since '...
everything in corporate America atm is strictly about optics and PR.
shame it hasn't reached 1 million to date. I could nitpick a little but overall it was a great game. Except for the last night grinding out levels for the platinum trophy lol. 1 month to go for Tales of Arise, can't wait. I think Tales of Arise will get some solid sales as the refresh does, imo, look to entice more gamers into the franchise/game with it's new look. End of the day it's still a RPG so numbers likely won't be massive.
if I recall Visceral wasn't an acquired studio, but still, yes, that was truly unfortunate how EA handled that studio & what projects EA green lit for them. Seriously, who at EA thought a police based Battlefield was a good idea!!??
Pandemic [developer] anyone? Also, yes, Criterion, and many, many others along with Bioware falling to the wayside. Perhaps EAs track record is better than we can recall in the grand scheme of things but nonetheless they've helped ne...
"People are our greatest asset." Ok, now that you realize that perhaps, just maybe, it's time to increase the pay of your frontline. You know, the guys and gals busting their ass to actually make your games. You know, since they're you're greatest asset, instead of giving these outrageous compensation packages to the CEO that reaps the benefits of their hard work. You can spit all the bu!!shit out your mouth as you want but until there's fundamental changes it's ...
The article I was reading earlier stated that they're on pace for something like 22 million by years end. Having sold something like 10-12 through the first half. Forget the specifics but yes, it's roughly 22.6 million or whatever total by years end that is their target goal & something they are on pace to achieve...
I was reading an article earlier, even w/o scalpers Sony wouldn't be able to meet demand because demand is just that high. Scalpers don't help but even w/o them demand is greater than production. The article stated production is on par with the PS4 which was easily available by Summer post launch. The problem is demand is just that big. Obviously, as I see it, the pandemic/scalpers certainly aren't helping. Luckily I got one at Walmart about 29 days after launch when they started ...
Lol, that was the first thing I thought. second being the Optics of. Look at us, a women is now co-head so there can't be any harassment or issues moving forward, right.
was just thinking about this game the other night.... if they can re-release it as it was I'd be all for it. I don't want character model changes, characters missing, etc.
that's the biggest issue as I see it.

regardless, it worked out for early adopters. Price point, imo, didn't have as much to do with Vita "flopping." I paid $180 for the AC Bundle the first black Friday after the Vita launched. The problems were that it came on the heels of a shaky PSP, a market dominated by Nintendo with the 3DS and to top it all off, after probably 1-2 years Sony stopped trying to support the Vita with games. It became, more or less, a niche device with niche RPGs a...
that's what I've found funny through all this. Sony started Vita production using OLED panels then switched to LCD to cut costs. In a sense actually rewarding early adopters. Nintendo goes the opposite route and now we have fluff pieces trying to justify the upgrade.
The fact of the matter is that, yes, this is a great upgrade. Especially, but likely limited to only those who do care about the handheld portion of Switch. Obviously first time Switch buyers may be en...
Value is subjective, though, I'd argue it's worth $300. Sure it's not the most powerful and is lacking in performance and power but it's still a nice machine and has some great games. While I don't use mine much I'm glad I have one for those games I can't get on PS like Monster Hunter Stories 2, MH Rise, Xenoblade 1 and 2, Mario & other 3rd and 1st party IPs. However, it definitely needs a performance upgrade more than it does just an upgraded panel to OLED. 2 ...
@JayRyu -
except this isn't some approved list or device from Sony and I doubt they will ever post such a list. They have always just posted requirements for replacing or in this case, requirements for expanded storage. End of the day this is the personal choice of Mark Cerny, not an endorsement by PS. There is a major difference.
However I do agree about fitting or working properly, etc. I'd rather have the drive and heatsink that are known to fi...
I get what you mean except this isn't a manufacturers suggestion. This is the opinion of, the man, the myth, the legend, Mark Cerny himself. It's quite possible Sony never even releases a list of suggested/recommended drives at all. They never have. They only post the requirements for swapping or in this case, adding storage to the PS.
I mean, if there's nothing to show.... after all Sony seems to be waiting closer to when their games actual release to drop more information and build up short term hype before release. Not to say it would likely happen with major Sony IPs but a long hype period is just bad for games and gaming in general imo. In recent years it seems Sony announces a sequel/game to quiet the rumor mill then go silent; for the most part. Now I know they showcased Horizon at some point this year but the fa...
