What?
While there are quite a few games may not be coming to the Switch, Square does seem to be providing more support for this console than the Wii U; which is his underlying point.
Also, he did say "home console" in his post.
It would behoove you to read the article a bit closer before claiming it's fake. I'll give you a hint though: the select platform option isn't in game, but on the official website for the game. In other words, an option to purchase it for a different platform.
The Switch tablet really isn't much bigger than the 3DS XL or Vita. The Joycons provide a bit more bulk than those devices, but they can be removed and packed away separately.
I was really surprised at the size of the device when I first opened it.
Activision already tried that with Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, and it wasn't great at all. I love the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games, but Activision can't give the series justice.
I'd like for it to be Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, but it's more likely the Assassins Creed Collection, honestly.
Hypothetical questions do nothing for this situation, and neither does looking towards the past. We should be happy Microsoft changed their stance, and we should be hoping for Sony to as well. If Sony created a game (in your hypothetical) that was on the Xbox platform and MS didn't allow PSN server log-ins you would be able to criticize them all you want. As it stands, though, cross-play will go through Microsoft servers, and there is no real reason why Sony can't allow this when they...
The Xbox Live account is just a server log in. Sony has allowed these before with Ubisoft, EA, Blizzard, Activision, etc. Sony still doesn't allow crossplay between Xbox with other games either that don't require the Xbox Live log in. Sony's decision has VERY little to do with an Xbox Live account, I can assure you.
You guys are looking to excuse this so Sony isn't the bad guy in this situation. Unfortunately it's still a stubborn decision on Sony's ...
The Xbox Live account isn't the reason Sony doesn't allow crossplay with Xbox. Signing into Xbox Live is literally no different than signing into battle.net, Uplay, or Battlelog that Sony has allowed for years. Besides, Sony doesn't allow Rocket League crossplay with Xbox/Switch either, which would not require that login.
It's funny how these past few months you've been clamoring how the PS4 version would sell more than the 3DS version. Everyone told you that it probably wont because the 3DS has a much bigger install base, yet you continued to argue with those that countered your opinion. Now the results are in and it looks like you are wrong. Similarly, you were wrong about Splatoon 2's launch as well (implying it wouldn't sell much better than 150k)
Your track record doesn&...
Well, one of my biggest gripes is that the amiibos are often in limited supply for the popular ones, and some models are discontinued.
Also, you have to buy the amino in a two pack for 30$...that's 30$ for a hard mode (if you didn't want the figurine)
I appreciate this comment a lot! Being able to set any console preference aside to just hope people can play a good game is wonderful.
I hope for CTR. One of the best kart racers of the era, IMO. I still wish Nintendo would take notes from it's story mode for Mario Kart.
The epitome of fanboyism, everyone.
@EDMIX
I never said that you personally stated that third party games don't sell on the Switch, but LIME implied that...which is the person I was originally replying to.
Also, RE5 and 6 wouldnt run on the Wii, you know that. It did receive RE0, 1, 4, the chronicles games, dead rising, tatsunoko vs Capcom, Okami, monster hunter, etc.
Never in my entire comment did I say there should or will be AAA support. I don't know where you ...
Lol 9 people disagree with my comment. The N4G community is pathetic.
Why don't you like your Switch?
That's cool. I'm glad Xbox is getting this great remaster. I hope Switch does too, but that one is less likely.
@deathdiver
Thank you for asking. Sony at the start of this generation seemed to be the most pro consumer (especially compared to MS) with cross buy, no DRM, etc
However, since gaining the top spot and outselling the competition about 2:1 they've refused to allow somethings that their competitors have. Such as, backwards compatibility (the PS4 does use an emulator for the PS2 games, but why can't we use our discs or be discounted for the classics ...
My belief that Sony is becoming arrogant actually has little to do with the price hike in America or Europe, actually
@-_EDMIX_-
I think it's funny that you are still referring to handhelds when he clearly said home console. You're misrepresenting his point in an attempt to win an argument. That's a fallacy.
