Xbox One downloads don't take longer, but installs certainly do. When I had both (though I sold my Xbox One) I timed a download. My Xbox on wifi had better download speeds than my PS4 wired in. I even tried creating custom DNS settings for my PS4, as I heard that helped improve download speeds, but nothing made it as quick as Xbox.

It's a minor sacrifice for added portability. If the portability aspect doesn't entice you, then PS4/Xbox One versions might be your thing.
Well we will just have to wait and see. Personally, I see the Monster Hunter series going two directions if the Switch sells really well and Monster Hunter Worlds sells well. More traditional Monster Hunter experiences for the Japanese handheld fanatics, and World for more western audiences (who I feel those titles will cater to).

Just because Dragon Quest has sold more doesn't mean Splatoon sales aren't great. Black Ops 3 on PS4 has outsold Uncharted 4, doesn't make Uncharted 4s sales bad.
I doubt it. They sold Wii games on the Wii U for 19.99. Following their current model, NES games 4.99, SNES 7.99, N64 9.99, and Wii 19.99...Gamecube games will probably be 14.99.

EDMIX all the PSP dock is doing is sending an out signal to the TV. That isn't the only thing the Switch dock allows the Switch to do.

The clock speed of the GPU INCREASES when docked in comparison to handheld mode. Meaning, the clock speed of the GPU is higher when docked vs undocked.
