I would double dip if that was the case.
@remixx116
These numbers look to be from June 3rd per the article. So it isn't 3 months after April 30th, but one month and four days.
@Goldby
The 3.4 million number that people are quoting includes digital sales as of April 30th. However, due to the discounts Horizon received this past month or so I wouldn't doubt that number being close to 5 million as of today either.
As long as it doesn't interfere with new games coming out, this is fine by me. I never purchased a Wii U, but I'd like to play it's collection on the go.
The article mentions Metroid Prime Trilogy as well. I own the collection (steelbook and all) for the Wii. I'd absolutely pay 60$ for a remastered version of that collection. It holds up well, aside from the resolution.
I wonder how long we are going to hear this same rhetoric. I guess we will see you in a year to compare sales, eh?
It just goes to show how popular the Wii really was. However, this was the last year of the Wii's lifecycle that performed really well. The PS4 may have the lasting appeal to sell more overall than the Wii, but it will probably take the PS4 three more years to do so.
Very interesting. I'm going to keep my eye on the product and see how it develops. That being said, please for the love of god, let someone else design the aesthetics for this thing.
@Sono421
Since Nintendo owns 33% of the Pokemon Company, I'm sure they will be receiving a significantly larger portion than just 3% of the revenue. They probably get a 15-20% cut, honestly.
The game itself still makes around 300,000$ every day even now (though that is a far cry from the 10M a day it was making when it first began).
Also, here is another article that was published in June that shows they are worth more than Sony eve...

"Yes new graphics if you choose. But none you have to buy to function favorably"
You don't need this product any more than you need a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X. Using this product is also a choice.
Nintendo needs to produce more units if they want to outsell the PS4.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild for me. That, or Persona 5.
I'm sure that would happen to many sequels if only a few seconds of multiplayer was shown a couple times in quick succession.
There were also those claiming it was a sequel though, too.
It's cool that they are progressing, but I always worry about cracked systems paving the way for rampant piracy. ROMs don't really bother me (heck anyone can download an emulator on PC, Mac, or even Android), but pirating new games could definitely hurt the console and developers. From what I hear, the PSP's piracy hurt game sales quite a bit. Hopefully that doesn't happen with the Switch.
Lol you mean "nonexistent virtual console*" :P
The Switch has an eShop, just no Virtual Console.
No they don't win the generation by having a "Netflix for classic games" service. However, by including it with the online service it definitely makes me more inclined to pay for their service.
The reason why I am separating the application and the system is because I like what the app can do as an application. It has neat features that I would take advantage of even if it wasn't required for voice chat. It IS disappointing that it is required, but how many times do I have to say this. I've said it, what, five times now in this thread?
Yes, you could use discord if you wanted to. That is an option if you wanted to use it. I know some people that use discor...
Actually it took the PS4 around 6-8 months before they were easy to find in many areas, specifically Europe (which, ironically, the Switch is a little easier to find there).

@Sono421
The only thing I don't understand is why you are so upset at my response. Again, you aren't going to understand my viewpoint, and I'm not going to explain it because half of your points are complaints about the console itself instead of looking at the application by itself. Again, the app is cool, the fact that you need the app for the console is not cool. When you learn to separate the app from the console then you will understand how its integration i...
@mcstorm
He asked for a reason, and I gave it to him. If the reason was obvious he shouldn't have asked, but you need to remember...that holiday season was the same season they were cancelling the Wii U's production and hadn't released the Switch yet. They needed SOME sort of revenue aside from Pokemon Go.
@Sono421
There is no need to echo your point. I understood yours perfectly, you are the one who didn't seem to understand my point. You still don't seem understand my point, but I don't think any amount of explaining is going to help you see things the way I'm seeing them. You seem very frustrated at this, even though it isn't nearly as big of an issue as you are portraying it to be.
That's what happens when you go against the sta...
@Tech5
From what I've heard, that is the reason they used toys for this movie. The technology they had wasn't sufficient to draw good looking human models, so they stuck with something that was a little more simplistic.
