Not with the combat footage i've seen it won't.. why do developers think mmo = S-L-O-W combat? One of the main reasons why WoW appealed to the masses was the fact it had a great combat system which wasn't exactly twitch based but felt involving and gave you the feeling you were truly in control of the character.. all these wow clones lacked this and after playing WoW, made it difficult to stomach them.
Before they talk about all these awesome animations.. perhaps they should focus on getting the simple things right like players actually making contact with the ball? I remember seeing a youtube clip just after the latest pes came out which shown players not even touching the ball when they were running with it.. in this generation such things are unacceptable.

Actually for once I agree with him.. microsoft are earning money from games his milk label makes. Not to mention xbl doesn't even deserve to cost anything.. next to pc gaming (which is free) it's got nothing.

Well this article has made my weekend.. WTF is the microshaft guy saying though? He thinks us hardcore gamers will be the early adopters.. WHY? No they said they haven't even thought of porting it.. personally I think it'll eventually get released on consoles.. it's done by EA after all..wouldn't surprise me if it ended up on the DS/PSP either with EA.

See I keep hearing it's crap yet I haven't really heard any actual reason as to why it's crap other than technical hitches.
Tbh at the end of the day, it's hurting EA way more than it's hurting xbox owners. PS fanboys can say what they want but xbox has a larger fps following than the playstation.. all the people who are upset and impatient are the ones EA should be trying to make happy as they're the fps nuts who EA want to swoon.

For me no, for it's intended audience yes.. which in my opinion is a good thing as I hope microsoft fall flat on their ass for turning their back on their loyal fans in favour of focusing on the nintendo crowd.
We've had console mmo games for yonks.. ff11! However really.. console gamers are far less inclined to pay a subscription fee than their PC counterparts which makes it difficult to have regular updates and maintain servers. I also think some of the older HDD models would struggle.. while it would be doable with a 20-30gb hdd.. considering the amount of DLC out now, I think people would be put off by having to lose a quarter of their hdd to play an mmo.
I agree.. avoid this site whenever possible.. i've had two credit card leaks both of which I had put on their site and when I was told what transactions taken place (mobile phone orientated ones), just confirmed it seeing as other people who had credit card problems reported the exact same thing.
How can they say "not so successful SWG"? Before SOE started changing things, it had one of the best communities of any mmo i've ever played. Some of my best experiences come from that game and as far as I know, very few games can offer the same experience that SWG offered, it was one of the most successful sandbox mmo games ever made.
