Lol i love it when sony show that many games in comparison to microshaft and nintendo yet people still expected to see more.. I think that really shows just how far the gap is opening up in the console war for REAL gamers.
Nope Sony destroyed everyone.. who cares about new hardware when you show so many amazing games.
Personally with the exception of Donkey Kong Country, their games didn't really impress me..sure they'd probably be fun but noway in hell i'd pay full retail price for them. 3DS though just well and truly left microsoft behind.
Lol not suprised Dana reacted like this.. while they might have shunted him before can't deny that after that press conference UFC Undisputed and THQ/Yuke got KTFO. Tbh ufc undisputed improved in a lot of ways but the live broadcast thing has gone further than undisputed will be able to go with their technology at their disposal. Give it a few years and Dana will be begging EA to take the UFC game.
Best news i've heard all year!
Salvia would pretty much do it! Hell when I took that stuff I thought an army of about a billion ants were carrying me on their tiny backs and flying me in the air...
Playing motion sports, touching cute animals and running up and down.. very futuristic, nintendo would disagree though! Microsoft should just be thankful Nintendo and Sony have respect for their opposition, if it was the other way around and Sony done that conference, Fatty Aaron would have a field day ripping sony for copying Nintendo so badly.
The main host was awkward most of the time.. probably more so that he was told to do so.. like when he got Shaun White out and started asking him all the sort of questions you'd expect from a marketer as opposed to someone putting on a show, it was very business like at times. However some of his one liners were good.
Ubi had a mixed one for me.. A lot of the stuff shown did look great but I just can't let go that they shown a toy at a gaming exhibition.. eg battle t...
The problem is that these experiences generally aren't new.. the majority of kinetic games shown were ripoffs of something nintendo have done before with a slight twist to it. Star Wars game looks like it could be decent but the motions shown seemed jerky and it clearly needs improvements. The dance game is definately new.. but how many gamers care for a dancing game?
Yeah I seen this all before.. like 3-4 years ago with nintendo's E3.
This guy needs drug tested.. he's clearly eaten some bad mushrooms as he's bleeding delusional.. none of the kinetic games show any sort of depth.
Where is the quality? Other than CoD.. I can't think of the last decent activision game I bought.. well actually I think it was Tony Hawk 3. Kotick can only dream of having such a great conference as EA.. I mean almost everything they offered interested me, it moved at a great pace and had me inputting dates in my iphone. Coming off of the xbox conference though, I think any sort of game announcement would have tasted sweet but still, activision's conference will suck in comparison.
Yo article writer, how's the new 360?
I guess another happy customer with a shiny new 360... the bribe has worked again!
Continue to evolve? They completely dumbed Ghost Recon down for the consoles.. it's a shadow of it's former PC self back in the original days along with the two expansions. Still, despite my reluctance to buy this game due to the direction they took it, gotta admit it looks sweet but it's certainly no OGR.
Early contender for the worst thing shown at E3? I mean sure microsoft's stuff sucked but this isn't even a game ffs.. I think the question has to be asked why and how ubi had the audacity to show this.
Quite frankly if they added milo to that god awful presentation, I think i'd have caught the next plane to LA and lobbed my 360 at Aaron Greenbergs big fat head.
Is it me or has ubisoft lost the plot? Games you can feel? That laser tag game barely even constitutes as a game.. it was a toy. And the stress release thing.. wtf? Also a grown ups toy.. someone tell me how they are even allowed to show that at a games convention?
Reminds me of old school Tony Hawk.. but in all fairness.. do we really need ANOTHER skateboarding game? I really can't imagine it selling all that well with two established skate games around plus the whole "reshape" the world thing, while sounds promising, if it's predefined how it's shaped or very limited in creative options, I just can't see it being all that interesting.
I think Gabe just recognized the direction microsoft were taking their console and decided it was time to jump ship.
