This article speaks the truth in every possible way and it's really really sad. Shouldn't microsoft have learnt with the zune? You enter new markets a few years after someone has already dominated and won over the ever elusive mass market, you're destined to fail.. They should get on their hands and knees, kiss their own asses then kiss Peter Moore's ass to come back because ever since he left, microsoft have been pissing in the wind.
Well gamasutra.. I hope you like your shiny new 360.. guess microshaft's bribing does work.
After seeing that dreadful E3.. I tend to agree eventhough this article writer is clearly a fanboy.. the ball is in sony's court.. lets play ball! Seriously though.. pretty much no new games to get excited about.. should have saved gears 3 announcement or at least something.. instead they show a real life trailer for something that I don't have a freaking clue about nor do I really care.. their only saving grace was their bribe at the end which if anything, just makes me even more mad...
Agree with the article.. I hope for microsoft's sake it FAILS big time.. that way they can bloody well go back and focus on their current playerbase.. I mean come on, what an absolute piss poor E3 showing.
Bleeding favouritism.. didn't even mention a Kinetic (not that I care) date either.. ah well screw them, it'll fail anyway.
Dear o dear o dear... I mean copying nintendo's game is one thing but copying their console design too? A very poor E3.. and their jerkoff gesture at the end giving away free 360s.. won't save them for their AWFUL presentation.. COME ON SONY!
God I hate Greenberg.. biggest fat unkempt tosser! Bring back Peter Moore.. he probably left microsoft because of the direction they were taking. On the subject.. well yeah I don't have to "Kinect" but considering i'm one of the many who made the xbox where it is today, I should think that everything major play they do, should interest me at least a little bit.
To be honest, microsoft should be glad that Sony aren't as vile and dirty as them.. they could...
They had better have something good, if it wasn't for reach, i'd trade my 360 in for some new ps3 games.
No Kinetic was for everyone but gamers
Secrets? Apparently if you rub them inbetween their legs, it spits in your eye!
Lol come on.. we all know Kinect sport will win it!
WTF did I just watch? They had that at a games event? Microsoft certainly screw up.
Completely mind blowing... let the revolution begin! Microsoft bringing innovative technology to the table and giving the gamers that oh so feel good feeling they've constantly been bringing the to the table. The games are quality and will fly off the shelves so fast that soccer moms will be offering hand jobs just to get hold of them.. if you can't tell i'm being sarcastic!
After seeing the microsoft event thing, he probably proposed to sony literally.
By looking at that nobody will want it.. families don't want to have to run and jump properly.. most people will be worn out after a minute on that running game.
Clearly that picture is a joke done by a disgruntled xbox fan.. or at least I hope. I mean it looks like an xbox mixxed with a wii.. literally! Not even microsoft would that blatantly copy nintendo.
Well at least their honest about where they want Kinect.. fortunately their target demographic already have painted a negative picture on the 360 console and I look forward to hearing about the poor sales.
Well i'm "labelling" Cliffy B as a sell out.. from the sounds of the event, it sucked pretty badly and had zero relevance or meaning to microsoft's current user base.
What a complete corporate sell out.. I actually had a lot of respect for Cliffy B.. I mean with the original gears, he completely redefined how we can look at shooters and clearly showed what a passionate gamer he was. But with the games shown at the event thingie, they didn't look like they were moving forward what so ever, more like taking one gigantic leap backward with their noses sniffing up nintendo's bum the entire time.
Lol love it.. if their conference wasn't disapointing enough, M$ go one step further by constantly reminding everyone who attended of it.
