Lol.. fools optimism.. only Christian games you'll get are cheap little fan made ones.. no big game developer is ever going to risk making a religious game as the backlash from fans would be merciless and very unforgiving.

This is silly.. while I like that sony have stuck to their "future proof" guns and promoting 3d gaming... how bad will it look if non 3d owners have to pay extra just so that the Mr Joe Big Wallets can enjoy games in 3d?

I actually feel sorry for the OXM guys.. I mean they probably have to say nice things about the big M but i'm sure most of them joined the magazine back when microsoft actually cared about their fanbase.. anyway my condolences to any real gamer who is forced to try and be positive about what microsoft showed off with kinect.

The difference in my eyes between sony and nintendo is the diversity. Sure both use old franchises but most of what nintendo shown was purely platformers.
Sony won in my eyes.. Nintendo did well however I was never interested in the sort of games they make so I probably shouldn't pass judgement.. microsoft in my opinion done the worst conference i've ever seen at E3.. half of it looked like it belonged at a toys r us expo or something.
3DS looked cool and the games coming for it look cool too however I will need to see consistent amount of games for non casuals if i'm to part ways with my cash for it.

I think what you've said echoes what many non fanboy gamers think. I spend more time on my xbox 360 than I do on my ps3 a LOT more time and used to sing it's praises, however microsoft have clearly lost touch with their own fanbase. Sony while not showing anything revolutionary, knew exactly what their current fanbase wants.. and thats games and games they shown!

Yeah it's a family device which they heavily showed at a GAMERS event. What do you think would happen? Yeah KB said we're all gamers.. but what microsoft showed barely constitutes as games and if those kinect things are what being a gamer is about, i'm ashamed to call myself one.

Some of his speech seemed a little bit too PR control on casual gamers but he did have a nice dig at microsoft and tbh, they had it coming.
