Personally, I think this is a good thing.. the original ps3 socom was a terrible release from what I remember, so giving that extra time to iron out bugs is much appreciated. However, chances are it's more a case of publisher worried about cod.
Still, I honestly am happy about this, there are loads of great games out this christmas and spreading them out into next year is nothing but a good thing for me.
I don't give a monkey's left testicle for all the bells and whistles.. unless EA actually support the game mode and not only test the damn thing properly or at the very least release patches fixing bugs, it'll be a pile of wank like last year... I was six seasons in and built up a great young squad only to have the game crash on me after everytime I completed a match.. in the words of Drogba.. it's a ****ing disgrace!!

Why would an fps game use Linkin Park music? No matter how I look at it, I just can't see it fitting in. Not to mention Linkin Park are awful these days.. used to love them back when they made their first two proper albums (non remixed) but after that, they turned into commercial trash.
Tbh I don't listen to any hiphop but whenever I hear songs in clubs and stuff and pay attention to the lyrics, I certainly wouldn't refer to them as artists.
Yeah last time I checked it's down in the sewers with all the hip hop people who claim to be artists yet you look at their lyrics which end up looking like something a 12 year old wrote.

Video games can be art.. sadly like most hollywood films, the large majority are a bunch of copied ideas into a stereotypical genre package never really bringing much new to the table *looks at black ops*.. I dare anyone to play a game like Okami and tell me video games aren't art.. sadly this gen all the good artsy games are lost amongst all the bleeding fps games.
A few that come to mind are Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey.. both games really shown me what is possible ...

To be honest, if you're going to talk about mw2 in terms of why the hell did they put that in the game, you could almost write up a 200 page essay of the amount of unbalanced crap things that people abuse.
For me, mw2 could have easily been the greatest fps of all time but the balancing issues completely ruined it. I got noobtubed for the last time about two months ago and a mix of bc2, halo and RDR, haven't looked back since.
I feel your pain.. the large majority of people I have played with on xbl are exactly the same pub hero morons. Sadly, PC is where you'll get the smart mature team players.
When will dice learn these "new map packs" are just damaging their usually good rep. To release these as special content we should be happy to have is a joke at best.. it was bad enough with the vip content already being on the disc but to keep releasing these is annoying more people than it is exciting them.
While I HATE kinect.. I can't help but say kinect + sc2 would be WIN.. controlling it with your hands would be FREAKING AMAZING.. ofcourse it would probably explode both the xbox and kinect itself if microsoft tried to incorporate it inside a REAL game.
