I'll get a new console when it's worthwhile for me. I've just upgraded my PC so not looking to get a console any time soon.
It'll probably be end of next year when Uncharted 4 comes out for PS4 when I'll buy one.
Not interested in XboxOne as I have a gaming PC and most MS "exclusives" come to PC anyway.

I've just bought a 760 and I'm happy it will last me for the next 3-4 years. My CPU on the other hand is getting a bit old now but I've had it for the last 5-6 years so it's done well :)

@frogman270 No it wasn't. As vishmarx points out this was a kickstarter game for the PC, Mac and Linux only.
A console version was introduced much further into development.
This game is the 3rd game in the trilogy. To me it makes no sense to bring it to any consoles without the first 2 parts as well. The story won't make any sense.

Popcap games were bought by EA therefore it's an EA game it's no where near an indie game.

@iamnsuperman Please don't use vgchartz for accurate sales as I'm guessing this game was a digital title as well on consoles and vgchartz don't record digital sales.

I've seen similar system requirements on a few new or pre released PC games lately.
I'm guessing they are just copying each other system specs to have some form of uniformity.
Publishers don't seem to like to be the odd ones out and have lower or higher system specs than the others.

Wow a lot of hate for PC gamers in this post. Well a lot of hate for PC gaming in general on N4G. It's filled with console fanboys on both sides that despise PC gamers and their platform.
Quite sad that console gamers or any gamer doesn't want a game to come to a specific platform.

It's cross platform so PS3, PS4 and PC players all play on same servers.
The only reason the Xbox consoles don't have FFXIV is because MS doesn't want their community to play on same servers as everyone else.
MS doesn't like to play with others so in their eyes no one else can either :P
They said exclusive to Xbox in holiday 2015.
They didn't say First to Xbox or any mention about timed exclusivity.
They wanted people to think it was exclusive to xbox and when the backlash started they had to come clean and explain the deal.
You do realise Microsoft have never been the market leader in the Xbox platform's lifetime.

Wii lead over Xbox360 and PS3,
PS4 leads over Xbox One and WiiU.

Valve doesn't own the PC platform. They are just a store front for digital games.
