That's not the gamers fault but the AAA developers/publishers.
They won't take any risks whatsoever so we get the generic crap year after year.
There's is a lot of innovative and different indie games on PC but console only gamers won't know of them as they aren't marketed like console games are.
You can keep telling yourselves that PC has no exclusives and yet I'll be playing those exclusives you've never heard of...
You might need 3-4 weeks if you want to finish it completely in that time :P
This is no small game like a lot of AAA games now. It's more like a PC Elder Scrolls game which can go on for months/years if you wanted to :)
This current console generation seem to be a lot weaker in power than the last gen and I don't think they'll last for 8-10 years like the PS3 and Xbox360 did.
The only plus is they have more RAM but the GPU and CPU side is quite weak for new consoles.
They are struggling with quite a few games already. I don't see them lasting for more than 6 years. Maybe find out about the next consoles in 2018-19 and launched in 2020 if there is going to be new ...
Also World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor (13th) and This War of Mine (14th).
The only reason Microsoft had a lead last time was because they launched over a year earlier.
They have no such luxury this time and it shows.
Anyone can say they had the leading console when the other company hasn't even launched yet.
Yup more and more people from different countries around the world have said the new Ubisoft games have been removed from their steam store.
This includes UK, US, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Brazil, Denmark, Israel, Mexico, Belgium, Russia and Japan so far.
Looks like they are pulling all their new games from steam worldwide.
Personally I buy their games from cd key sellers and not directly from steam or uplay.
...
@mhunterjr I really don't give a shit what price Ubisoft set their games at.
I never buy their games at their recommended price.
Why is Valve greedy? It's Ubisoft that set the ridiculous prices on steam not Valve.
Not sure why you are blaming Valve when you should be blaming the publishers setting the ludicrous prices.
I'm willing to bet that Ubisoft removed the games themselves to get a bigger piece of the pie on...
Ubisoft and EA are both as greedy as each other.
You realise that they are charging £50/$85 for all their new games now right? That's just for the standard edition for PC digital download. I think it's even worse in Europe and Australia.
The Ubisoft games were first removed from Steam UK as the steam forums exploded due to the ridiculous pricing in UK/EU.
Now it seems all steam stores have had them removed.
This ...
Eh?
Titanfall, SSOD or TR are 3rd party exclusives which were bought off by MS to be exclusives.
Titanfall wasn't funded by MS but Respawn. EA helped publish the game.
Naughty Dog is a 1st party developer which is owned by Sony. It is nothing like what MS did with the 3rd party games.
If you actually think what you typed is true then you are delusional.
This isn't a good move at all.
All it has done is created more negativity towards Microsoft and brought in Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics to share in that negativity from fans of the Tomb Raider series (PS and PC gamers).
Business should never get in the way of the gaming hobby but it generally does.
Microsoft don't give a shit if a few million Tomb Raider fans are angry at them and SE/CD. All they are bothered about is selling more...
Sega has already announced it'll be 1080p 60fps but not sure about higher res textures. I hope so but it didn't need it due to the anime style graphics.
As long as it runs great it's going to be an amazing experience on PC like it was on PS3.
Meh
You're joking right? It's a tactical RPG with turn based combat.
It's more suited to PC than it ever was for consoles. We love these types of games.
Console gamers seem to have no idea what PC gamers play at all.
Microsoft hasn't changed at all over the years they just transferred their corporate greed over to the Xbox platform instead of the PC platform.
That's the way I'd like it to stay.
I don't care what they say but I won't stay silent if they have an agenda of coming back to PC gaming and wanting to ruin it again.
PC gaming is just getting back on it's feet again and as an avid PC gamer I don't want their scrawny paws...
We don't have an agenda but they do.
G4WL and trying to charge for it. Shutting down most of the PC dev studios they owned and not supporting PC gaming for the last 10-15 years because of the Xbox platform.
I personally hope Microsoft stay well away from PC gaming as they are nothing but bad news when they have been interested in it.
Yup so far :) Can't wait.
Well if the current consoles are so powerful like a lot of consoles fanboys seem to suggest why are they downgrading?
The consoles should be able to handle any game no sweat, right?
Personally I think the current gen consoles aren't really that powerful or there wouldn't be a need to downgrade anything. Let's face it you were sold an inferior PC in a small plastic box and it's not even a year old :)
@ShottyGibs
You mean like The Evil Within 30 fps cinematic on consoles whereas the PC version is 60 fps.
This cinematic crap is just an excuse by developers because the consoles aren't powerful enough to handle the graphics or AI in these games.
Even exclusive games on both platforms are going for the cinematic 30 fps like The Order 1886 and Sunset Overdrive.
Bit late for that. She's already crapped on the industry many times.
So have a lot of game journalists and developers saying "gamers are dead" and condemning "gamergate".
Don't bite the hand that feeds you :)
Nvidia are working with developers on PC games with Nvidia GameWorks.
It adds graphical effects to most games that isn't available on consoles and never will be.
You can say what you like about nvidia but they make great albeit expensive graphics cards and are the top graphics card makers without needing the consoles.
AMD chose console, nvidia chose PC gaming. It's seems nvidia are doing the best out of both of them :)
