I wonder what or who she and other activists are going to blame/attack when this "gamergate" crap fizzles out. I'm hoping she just fizzles away with it so we can get back to gaming.

There is nothing she can do to stop me from playing the games I like. I'm a gamer. Deal with it :)

I know many females that play games, my girlfriend is a gamer. Is this Anita Sarkeesian going to condemn them as well?

This whole "gamergate&q...

Nothing to do with Sunset Overdrive. Not all games revolve around an Xbox exclusive especially not this gen.

It's been 28th October on steam for over a week now.

Just preloaded the game on steam and can't wait to play it.

I'll wait till Sunset Overdrive is out on PC next year :P

What exactly did Microsoft win? It certainly wasn't sales and I think PS4 has more games on their system whether they be indie or AAA.

MS have been playing catch up since the start and still are.

MS seem to lose more exclusives than gain them.

For a name like "GamingTruth" you don't half spread BS and lies a lot :)

Actually active steam accounts is 100m now :P

@SnotyTheRocket

What does that matter? According to console gamers and the gaming media PC gaming died years ago :)

Can't have it both ways. Next argument please.

@alwayzbusi1

Consoles may have 8GB in total but that is not all for gaming. You have maybe 5-5.5GB RAM available for gaming the rest is taken up by OS and other processes.

The consoles are pretty weak this gen due to the CPU. If that doesn't perform adequately everything else will suffer.

Consoles have never set any advancements they are just too weak for that. The new consoles are struggling to maintain a consistent 1080p/60fps. We'v...

You sound like one of the trolls that paints Gamersgate in a bad light.

Hell if you aren't one you're just as bad as one.

And you certainly aren't a gamer if you believe all that crap you wrote.

Well the person responsible for the honest answers is Tomasz Gop, ex CD Project RED Senior Producer for The Witcher 1 and 2. He is now executive producer for Lords of the Fallen.

Can't wait for Lords of the Fallen. It's out Tuesday by all accounts :)

Me too. Can't wait for release this Friday in UK :)

Nope they went with the console company that came to them and actually wanted to bring the game to their platform.

It will be Microsoft that will lose money this generation. A games console without many varied games is a poor man's calculator :)

It get 82% on metacritic for PC version. It rates better than Destiny.

But it's a PC game so that's why you haven't heard of it and why you think it sucks.

I guess you'll only rate games that MS bought out or is publishing.

It's going to be a lonely time on Xbox One this generation with some many games you'll be missing out on :)

4185d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

It's a PC indie game why would you know or care?

For one thing Ether One has a higher metacritic score than Destiny :P

It's been out on PC for the last 6-7 months but now it's becomes a big deal when one of the consoles is getting it.

It proves how little console gamers know about what games are on the PC and how ignorant you are to say the PC platform has no exclusives any more :)

Microsoft has nothing to do with Titanfall or Ryse. They are both 3rd party titles.

Respawn developed Titanfall for EA and Crytek self published Ryse on steam.

If anyone purposely limits the fps on PCs they'll have a shitstorm coming their way.

AMD, nvidia and intel all have a stake in PC gaming as well as Microsoft if they want to sell Windows 10 to PC gamers.

If they force 30fps on PC gaming we won't be buying any m...

WTF? No Man's Sky is nothing special. Elite had a procedural universe in 1984 (I doubt you were even born then). Elite Dangerous, the sequel to Elite, has a procedural universe as well with 400 billion star systems which is launching this year as a PC exclusive.

No Man's Sky is not an exclusive to PS4 it's also coming to PC. So the PC is getting all 3 space sims, star citizen, elite dangerous and no man's sky.

And PS4 will never have better gr...

@FITgamer Dead Rising 3 is already multiplatform. It's on Xbox One and PC.

Microsoft do not own the PC platform so don't come back at me with that excuse.

4190d ago 6 agree6 disagreeView comment

I won't be buying their Tomb Raider games anymore but that's an entirely different story and reason :)

I bought FFXIII on PC it's playable I guess but no effort has gone into it whatsoever.

On PC we have options to make it better though which consoles don't have so it's not too bad now.

They didn't get a copy from Bethesda so they had to buy their own copy to review the game. Many gamers have bought the game early already.

This resulted in not signing any embargo so they weren't tied to any draconian contracts by Bethesda. They could freely review the game and put it online whenever they wanted.

Bethesda couldn't force them to take down the review as no contract was signed.

You been hibernating? It's October not July :P

Console exclusives maybe but Titanfall was always coming to PC. Microsoft has no control over Dead Rising 3 and Ryse as they are 3rd party games and can go to whatever platform the publisher chooses.

Until we see actual good 1st party exclusives coming to PC apart from the mobiles games and castoffs they still aren't supporting PC gaming at all.

They got bigger things to worry about than a platform they don't own and games they will never profit from....

I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft is behind this at all.

It just sounds like Microsoft is having a tantrum and demanding games can only play as good as their console can handle them :P

Or the current gen consoles aren't as powerful as people thought they were :P

Or the developers are all lazy bastards and can't optimise their games at all.

Pick one but only one is the correct answer :)
