The only Rockstar game not to come to PC is Red Dead Redemption.
That game seemed to have it's own problems and it sounded like it was lucky to even be released at all.
I can live without one game not coming to PC as I've already played it on PS3.

SOE is handling all the servers just like in all their MMOs.
They'll be no private servers for H1Z1. All admin, anti-cheat and maintenance is handled by SOE.
Smedley, SOE CEO, said they'll be 150-200 servers at Early Access launch which will encompass all server rulesets from PvE, PvP, First person only, Headshot kill only, permadeath and maybe Karma :)

RTS + console should never be said in the same sentence. RTS is one genre that belongs only on the PC.
It won't be Halo Wars as it was never on the PC and it wasn't "beloved".
Anything else like AoE, AoM or RoN and MS fk it up they'll have millions of rabid PC gamers on their case asking, "WTF did you do?"

We don't have to buy a new system every few years it's continuously upgraded over the years when we feel like we need to upgrade. Not when a multi billion dollar company demand we buy their new system. All about the Choice!

Yeah it's not like the PC has all the 3rd party games that the consoles have like Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, Battlefield 4 etc in true HD at 60fps with much better graphics than the console could eve produce.
Maybe you should check out Star Citizen for a real PC exclusive or maybe Pillars of Eternity and Divinity Original Sin. There's are hundreds more PC exclusives that don't include WoW and F2P games.

Witcher 1 uses the old Aurora engine from Neverwinter Nights by Bioware.
Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 uses CDProject RED own REDengine designed for their recent and future games.
That might be the reason why it's more CPU intensive.
I'm not surprised about the PC system specs.
I'm more surprised that the consoles can run this game at all :P
They really did skimp on the console specs for this generation. I just can't see them lasting more than 5 years till a new console has to be released so they can run more modern games.
Either way Witcher 3 is already preordered on PC. Just a matter of waiting now :)

Personally I don't think ending piracy will change anything. It may even decrease sales due to people trying out the game and then buying it afterwards. If they can't do that then they aren't going to buy the game on chance that it'll be good.
It's all well and good publishers condemning piracy and then raising the price of PC games to £50/$78 in UK on steam and their own digital stores.
That's not going to help their sales.

I'm not a Sony or MS fanboy. I'm a PC gamer.
You can shout all the BS you want but if MS had sold 10 million to customers all the news outlets would have heard about it.
The fact that there is no news says to me they haven't sold 10 million yet.
If Microsoft had sold 10 million Xbox Ones they'd be shouting it from the rooftops by now.
I haven't heard a peep out of Microsoft for a few weeks now so probably haven't reached 10 mil yet :)
MS haven't outsold Sony all year worldwide so they can't catch up no matter what anyone says.
While PS4 gamers start to play Planetside 2 PC gamers will be playing H1Z1 on January 15th.
This is how long you will have to wait for H1Z1 on PS4 considering it took SOE over 2 years to release Planetside 2 beta on PS4 :)
You have no choice but to pay for XBLive/PSN if you want to game online.
MS and Sony took that choice away from you. You shouldn't have to pay extra to game online. They are just milking their customers.
PC gamers stood up to MS when they tried to charge us for Live a few years ago so they had no choice but to stop charging for it.

The Witcher is a PC franchise and will sell a lot on all platforms.
Console gamers are lucky to get such a great game coming from a PC developer. You should be thanking PC gamers for supporting CD Project RED throughout the years and not berating them at every turn.
You can also thank us for GTA franchise too as it started on PC as well.
