I'm guessing either Microsoft wrote this or they paid for the site to write it.
The consoles will probably get maybe 1% of the mods the PC version gets. Most of the mods won't be suitable for consoles as they'll require more power and resources the consoles don't have at their disposal.
Until consoles can use editors they'll always play 2nd fiddle to PC when it comes to mods.
The PC version will be the definitive version o...
@Meninblack7
The PC platform is the 2nd most profitable platform just behind the PS4 for Ubisoft. And you're point is?
And console don't have microtransactions? Give me a break microtransactions all started on consoles.
And where are these ads in PC games?
You really are trying too hard to find any negativity that PC gaming is doing well just to make the consoles revenue appear better than it is.
Your only comeback about PC gamers being pirates and thieves has gone and now you've lost that you're getting desperate and making shit up.
It's won't. Some people just like to live in ignorant bliss.
It's like talking to a brick wall trying to get through to most console gamers.
We just have to let the financials of the publishers do the talking for us PC gamers.
@OrionPaxBB
Batman AK still looks a lot better on PC even with all the problems by the shoddy console developer.
You get what you pay for :)
They owe us a working game if they want us to buy their product.
Otherwise we get a refund for their shoddy work (on PC anyway).
We also have the divide that Microsoft and Square-Enix created as well with the timed exclusivity of the latest title.
You don't segregate the fanbase if you want a game to do well.
I don't expect the game to sell that well considering the odds aren't exactly stacked in it's favour.
Lowest fanbase on Xbox, timed exclusive on Xbox, sandwiched between Fallout 4, CoD and Battlefront as well as the majority of the fanbase are on P...
Years ago? It's only been in development for 3 years.
The thing with game development is that people don't see the process from Day 1 like in Star Citizens case.
Most AAA games are announced at E3 with 6 months till launch. No one mentions that they've been in development for the last 5-6 years like Fallout 4.
What most gamers lack these days is patience and a bit of understanding.
If people aren't happy with ...
The PS4 doesn't have a high end graphics card so not sure why console gamers think it's comparable to a decent PC card.
It's a low to mid end graphics card now and the CPU and RAM have to be good too to have games perform well.
The CPU in both consoles this time around are pretty low end.
It's no wonder most games are set at 900/1080 and 30fps on consoles.
Console gamers should play the real Fallout games not these FPS wannabes :P
Now those are real graphics :D
Anyway the graphics look fine and I'm quite looking forward to Fallout 4 on PC.
I backed Star Citizen on kickstarter. For me the game is on schedule.
The reason CIG went to kickstarter in the first place was because no publisher would fund this ambitious game as they are more bothered about profits than pushing the boundaries of what game development could create.
We would never see a game develop like this from day 1. Normally we get to see the finished product 6 months from launch at E3.
CIG can take as long as it tak...
@user1049
"I agree greatly. Don't really see much lasting appeal with this game. Although the first few hours will be absolutely outstanding, I can't see most users aimlessly flying to slightly different planets doing the same tasks over and over. "
Why not? Don't people do that in Destiny day in day out? A few people still play the game from launch and I expect they'll do the same in NMS as well.
I feel like a lot of developers are trying to develop games that the current gen consoles are incapable of running.
It seems CPU/GPU power has been sacrificed for more RAM this time around. You need all components to be adequate to run games that a lot of developers are aiming for not just 1 or 2.
Next time gamers may have to pay what PC gamers do if they want an actual powerful console to run games that developers envision.
Hello Games did w...
It's a game about assassinating people. There should be more blood and gore not less.
I want arms, legs and heads chopped off especially with the weapons they have access to now.
Let the kids go play a PG rated game and stop trying to convert mature games to kids games.
I wouldn't say the game was easy throughout.
It had some tough challenges but it was easy to understand and play.
The world is massive and could be a little overwhelming at first.
I still haven't finished the game as I explore a lot and do many side quests before doing the main story missions.
It's an adventure and I fully intend to explore the world instead of rushing through the story missions like a linear FPS....
I remember when maps were free content made by the developer or the PC modding community.
No such luck these days.
They'd rather charge ridiculous amounts of money and segregate the community than give them away for free.
I dunno about not overtaking AAA development.
AAA games are becoming very generic and uninspiring as publishers are unwilling to take any risks whatsoever.
In a way indie games have already surpassed AAA games with everything apart from cost of development.
Money can't buy innovation, passion or the balls to experiment with new ideas and gameplay mechanics.
AAA games are stuck in a rut and they need something or someone t...
You only get charged at the end of the kickstarter campaign not before.
The campaign ended prematurely so no one has funded anything.
End of story :)
I don't care about some stats I try to do the objectives as Rebels or Imperials.
I don't end up in the top half of the scoreboeard but I had fun playing the map as it was meant to be played :)
It will work.
Many games say the exact same thing they all work.
Windows 10 is just an updated Windows 7/8 really.
Anyone disagreeing doesn't have a clue about PC gaming and how it all works.
