I still remember what he said about PC gaming when he was a console developer sellout working on Gears for Xbox.
"I think the PC is just in disarray... What's driving the PC right now is Sims-type games and WOW and a lot of stuff that's in a web-based interface. You just click on it and play it. That's the direction PC is evolving into." - CliffyB
Supposedly PC gaming is where it's at right now once again. Never trust a man who chang...
He said the same thing about PC gaming a few years ago.
A man not to be trusted. He goes where the money is.
I won't be buying into his BS especially when Nexon are hosting the game.
It's no different than what Telltale Games develops with Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead episodic adventure games.
We get 5-6 episodes over a few months to create a complete game at the end.
I'm willing to give IO Interactive the benefit of the doubt as I've loved the Hitman games since the first PC exclusive Hitman Codename 47.
But it does have 120 million users and is the main PC store front for many of PC games today.
They'd be silly to ignore steam but it's Microsoft and they still think they are a big deal in PC gaming hehe.
Ubisoft sell their games on steam and then you use uplay to play the games.
So what's the difference?
I've already disabled Xbox Live crap on my PC so they can try to force their games through it all they want I'll stick to PC centric launchers not one designed for a console.
One ecosystem does not work as mobile, console and PC are all different with differing amounts of resources available for each one.

It's Konami. They couldn't give a shit about their employees never mind their customers.
Losing Kojima will hurt them badly in the long run. I hope he shows them what they've lost by starting a new studio.
After all Kojima did for Konami I don't blame him for leaving that draconian company.
MGS5 will be my last game I buy from Konami they don't deserve anyone's money in the future.
Well let's see it used in the game proper first. This was just a tech demo and we all know they don't always turn out like we expected if at all.
You hype it up and things get cut or downgraded you only have yourself to blame.
It's all dependant on the user's internet connection like all multiplayer games.
Battlefield 5 wouldn't be able to use the "cloud" as it's developed by a 3rd party publisher, EA, and they would want parity across the board.
You can't have "cloud" destruction on one console and nothing on the other.
1st party exclusives fine but not for 3rd party games.
I'm not even sure that Microsoft would use it for PC games as they aren't bringing some of their 1st party titles over to PC just ye...
Begging? Everyone thought it was Xbox exclusive till now.
I don't know of anyone begging for ReCore to come to PC. This is just a nice surprise if it does come to PC.
So how about you stop with your fanboy BS and go play on your amazing games and we'll stick to our lowly PC games that no console fanboys wants. Oh wait you do but that's not begging...it's just hypocrisy.
Gay used to mean Happy.
It's only changed it's meaning because of ignorant people like you.
Why are you so threatened by homosexuals, PC gamers and anything you don't understand?
How about you STFU and go back to your closed off console environment and leave everyone else to play the games they want to play on a platform they are comfortable with.
Hehe lots of console fanboys here more or less saying STFU PC gamers I wanna talk about my console 24/7/365 and compare it to the other low end console.
I guess it's hard to share the limelight when PC platform is becoming more and more popular with gamers of all ages :)
For me I won't be getting a console this generation. They don't have any games I want this time around and I've always preferred PC gaming to console gaming. I feel so closed ...
Brilliant game on PC. I have the large expansion too :)
Yes a universe that wasn't created by the developer but a procedurally generated algorithm.
I'll pay £15-20 but no more.
I don't really care if you aren't happy with my decision but I don't feel the game warrants a premium price no matter how many galaxies are procedurally generated.
I'll be getting both of those games plus XCOM 2 all on PC.
I think I'll have more games end of this year to last me till end of the year after :P
I won't be getting AC Syndicate even though it's based in my capital city. After last time Ubisoft need to prove they can develop working games now and I'm also burned out from AC games.
Battlefront, Fallout 4, MGS5 and XCOM 2 are my most anticipated games atm.

Yes between 3 platforms not 1. Square-Enix complained about the sales of Tomb Raider last time as it didn't live up to their sales projections and that was multiplatform.
3.5 million of those sales were on the PC. The rest was shared between the consoles. Playstation sold more copies than Xbox.
It may sell 1-1.5 million copies on Xbox but that's being generous.
Not everyone can buy all the games coming ...
And how many people bought NBA Jam in 1993? A few hundred thousand? Maybe a million?
Compare that to today's big games where 10s of millions of people are buying the games.
The gamer population has increased 100 fold since 1993.
The price may not have changed in US but it has elsewhere like in EU/UK where it is a lot more expensive for AAA games even on PC.
I'm glad I stuck to gaming on PC as I wouldn't be able to...
The Witcher 3 disagrees and many other single player games do too.
Piracy is not the problem greedy companies are.
How many games have we got over the last few years that are not even remotely finished?
And yet the publishers and developers still expect the customer to pay premium price for an unfinished product?
Please tell me who is scum again?
If they stopped piracy dead in it's tracks today do you really think they'll recoup all of the supposed lost profits?
They record people using torrents, seeding etc and equate that to lost profits. What if the person was just trying out the game like a demo and buys it right after if they liked it? Is that still regarded as lost profit even though the person bought the game afterwards?
Theft or stealing is removing something tangible from another pers...
40 million? I doubt it. The last game didn't even get 10 million sales.
The devs have segregated the fanbase by having this timed exclusivity BS. It might sell quite well on Xbox just because it's an exclusive this year but the main fanbase for Tomb Raider is on PC and PS.
I'll probably get it for PC next year but it's not a high priority game.
Not it's not. It's never been true. I've been a PC gamer for the last 15 years and there have been some amazing games during that time on PC platform.
Just because the consoles dominated the headlines doesn't mean there was no great games on PC which could rival anything the console could deliver.
I mean who on the consoles had heard of a little unknown PC exclusive called The Witcher back then? Hardly anyone and look at it now.
