Halo Infinite’s campaign gameplay was revealed over a year ago before it was delayed.
Shooting games that use control based input typically have some aim assist. Halo titles generally have low aim assist.
I think a lot of the American studios, especially those on the west coast fell behind schedule due to COVID. Maybe the Initiative partnered with Crystal Dynamics because they were behind schedule and wanted assistance from an experienced dev studio?
How come this article got approved? The article is largely based on speculation. We don’t know too much about Perfect Dark’s development. We don’t know the scale of Crystal Dynamics dynamics involvement in the project.
Or did Square Enix pay Disney for a development license? Plus, sources point to Square-Enix losing money on the Avengers ( https://www.google.com/amp/...
I very much liked Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Therefore,I personally believe, Crystal Dynamic would be good co-developer [or support studio] for the Perfect Dark reboot.
As an aside, Square Enix probably wants to make back funds lost on their Avengers title. Thus, taking a supportive, or co- development contract from MS makes sense.
Bayonetta 3 looks kind of low-poly. However, I don’t think it looks too bad for a Switch title. It’s not as cartoony as Nintendo first-party titles. Platinum is targeting a high framerate, and we all know the Switch requires visual compromises to run more complex games at 60fps.
Good to finally see gameplay for Bayonetta 3. However, you I can't help but wonder how much more graphically impressive Bayonetta 3 could be on the PS5 and Series S/X [or even the Xbox One and PS4].
Epic got greedy only to lose 100s of millions [if not billions] in long term iOS revenue.
I would say Pokémon in terms of revenue and units sold is more successful. Plus, I’m fairly certain other franchises such as: GTA and COD have out earned Minecraft.
The Call Duty franchise, despite its M-rating, is very popular with younger gamers. Gamers aging out of COD isn’t an issue for Activision, as younger people play it so readily. As soon as some “ages-out” of Call of Duty, a younger gamer takes their place. COD doesn’t need much innovation to stay popular.
It would have made sense to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC in 2019 or 2020 before Infinite launched. Guardians essentially cannot launch before infinite now. A port of Halo 5 to PC would likely need to outsourced.
I don’t understand why Microsoft bought Compulsion Games. When compared to Ninja Theory, Inxile, Obsidian and Double Fine, Compulsion seem largely unproven. The studio hasn’t put out anything particularly well received.
Daniel Cormier is the one the greatest UFC fighter of all time, and he is of barrel-shaped build. Cormier is also kind of pudgy, especially when fighting at heavyweight. However, I do agree with you their are few overweight successful UFC fighters. As being obese and or overweight is generally not healthy and of any benefit in most sports.
Also, a lot of strongmen like Edie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson weren’t practically lean [or didn’t look lean in a traditional sense] whe...
This version of Thor seemed to have a strong man build big barrel chest and round belly. One should remember Gods, in the GOW Series can still be physically affected by alcohol. GOW: Ragnarok's Thor has red hair like the Thor in classic Norse/Germanic mythology. Plus Thor in mythology was found of drinking lots of alcohol, so I'm assuming GOW: Ragnarok's Thor likes to drink heavily too.
God of War has never been completely accurate to the mythology it’s based on.E.g. Kratos in Greek mythos is not a son of Zeus. Perhaps, the black characters named after a Norse god/jotunn isn’t from the Nordic region in the game’s canon. Also, some the gods in GOW canon can take different form at will.
Lady Dimitrescu height of 9’5 included her hat and giant high heels ( https://www.google.com/amp/... Without the heels and hat, Dimitrescu is probably closer to 8’6.
I was surprised by the lack of co-op at launch. Hopefully, it's more expansive than the co-op in previous Halo games. Maybe character specific ability could be include in co-op and additionally enemy scaling? I personally don't use forge, but I have benefited from the fan-made content it generates. Forge, can wait, it is a very complex tool, and once it launches, forge will allow the Halo community to continually add content to the game. Halo 5 forge was praised for it features. Hope...

I think Deepdown's disappearance is simply due to Capcom focusing resources on their already established IPs ( Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and too a lesser extent Devil May Cry). Despite the vaporware nature of Deepdown, Capcom has been doing quit well for the past 4 years or so.
I got an invite to Halo Infinite’s second flight. However, I can’t play due to moving and having to rely on high ping satellite, semi-data gap internet. Hope those who got in are enjoying the game.
