@neutral I highly doubt life long contracts would be readily signed.
The early reviews of Battlefield 2042 were generally favourable. However the reviews of BF 2042 have gotten progressively more mixed or negative. It seems critics who didn’t get early access or simply put more time into BF 2042 are more critical of it.
Microsoft can’t make certain games backwards compatible due to licenses. Microsoft could technically make “every” Xbox game compatible with the Xbox Series S/X, but they don’t have the legal power to do so.Films, and music are generally preserved, thus games should be aswell. For games to be consistently preserved, studios and publishers will have to work together to create game preservation guidelines and laws.
I wouldn’t say Titanfall 2 changed the FPS genre. It was just a very good FPS game.
We have had dozens of articles like this one stating the same thing over-and-over again. The Switch was never intended to have powerful hardware. The system is designed to run titles made by Nintendo first and foremost. Look at the system’s sales, they are incredibly high despite the Switch not being able to run modern demanding games well [or at all].
I think Metroid Dread did a good job of wrapping up the overall narrative arch of the series so far. One should keep in mind Metroid is a Nintendo series. Nintendo as a whole doesn’t focus heavily on narrative and story.
PlayStation Plus isn’t free.
Sales are looking strong too. FH5 is selling well on both steam and the Microsoft Most Paid digital list.

Gamepass, and the games it includes aren’t free. If your going to play a game long term, buying it outright might more sense than renting it.
I personally don’t care for emotes. I hated the emotes of gears 5 MP. They emotes on taunts we’re either overly goofy or unnecessarily vulgar. I’m glad Halo Infinite doesn’t have dances.
Helmets would have to be manufactured based on variable head size, something that wouldn’t be practical for a collector’s edition.
The lockdown was a factor. However, a number of titles also got delayed from 2021 to 2022.
Nintendo released Pokémon Sword and Shield and the unexpectedly extremely successful Animal Crossing: New Horizons last year. The company’s 2021 releases simply weren’t able to generate the of sales of their 2020 counterparts.
Two Sega-owned studios, creative Assembly and Relic Entertainment have co-developed games for Microsoft in recent years. Creative Assembly co-developed Halo Wars 2 with assistance from 343i’s secondary team. While Relic Entertainment co-developed Age of Empires IV alongside World’s Edge.
Dread is my first 2D Metroid title. I have been enjoying Dread, but I prefer Metroid Prime, Prime 3 and maybe even Prime 2 over Dread. I’m not too found of Dread’s boss battle difficultly, despite having beat Bloodborne, Dark Souls series, and Ninja Gaiden Black and 2.
Personally, I will never be able to fairly compare Dread to other 2D Metroid tiles. How does the title compare to Super for those that have beaten both? I consistently hear that Super is the best 2D Metroid ...
The character models are much more textured and detailed after the delay ( https://content.halocdn.com...
Forbes is so out of touch. Nintendo online network is far more dated than PSN and Xbox Live. The Expansion Pack is overpriced; it locks “ancient” games behind a subscription.
Haven’t watched the second film, I’m not too interested in the series. A Quiet Place, in my opinion wasn’t a particularly strong film. I might watch a A Quiet Place 2 if it came to Netflix.
The films have a major plot hole. If the aliens are sensitive [and vulnerable] certain sounds they would have difficulty functioning on Earth. Thus, the aliens would never kill off most of humanity.
Hideo Kojima’s games and the stories he writes have never appealed to me. However, I generally enjoy most of Quentin Tarantino’s films. I don’t see how Hideo Kojima is the “ Quentin Tarantino of games”. I have never understood the appeal of Kojima’s style of storytelling and game direction. However, I will admit Metal Gear Solid was innovative for its time.
