The armour design of the unnamed male character looks similar to a COG soldier. I assume Gears 6 [and other Unreal 5 titles] will be a visual treat.

Both Sony and Nintendo have a cloud computing/server partnership with Microsoft.
Sony has to spend more of it won revenue to maintain it’s online infrastructure than Microsoft. Microsoft is a sever, cloud computing and PC software company, Xbox has access to subsidized servers.
I played at 60 fps on series X. I can generally play fast paced FPSs without getting motion sickness. RE 7 made me feel sick very quickly, I couldn't play it for more than 30 minutes at a time. Alien Isolation a slower paced first person title, with a bad framerate on PS4 didn't make me feel ill either.
I turned off head bobbing when I played RE 7, unfornately it didn't help.
Did anyone on here get terrible motion sickness from playing Resident Evil Village. I tired RE 7 on Gamepass and couldn’t play through due to motion sickness.
I encountered minor pop-in glitches that prevented quest critical objects (ladders, etc.) from being seen at range. Also, did you find Aloy’s gameplay dialogue to silently off? I found she would often speak before I could see what she was talking about.
No they haven't. Lara Croft and Tomb raider had a much larger impact on gaming. Tomb Raider has influenced far more games over 25 years than Horizon has. Also, Lara Croft was one of the first main stream female lead game characters. Aloy game in to an existence long after female leads in games had become common.
I think some lead designers jump from contract-to-contract to build their resumes. The more well received games a designer works on the higher the contract they get. At least that how I assume the industry works.
I believe that the opinion of players is increasingly more important to public perception of a title than reviews. Reviews have greater impact during a game’s initial release and its first few months of availability. The Witcher games [especially the 3rd title] already have years of word-of-mouth recommendations. Cyberpunk 2077’s public reception is mixed, but it can still receive some recommendation from players that played it and enjoyed it. Thus, I don’t think review bombing the previous...
Correct me if I’m wrong. Not a single character originated in a game from the past 10 years? Plus, anime characters are the list.
RDR 2’s world is more dynamic than the one present in Horizon Forbidden West. NPC behaviour and interactions in RDR 2 are more dynamic too. But you have to keep in mind the worlds of the two games are designed for differing levels of interactions.
I have played the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne and Sekiro. All the previously mentioned titles used the same engine and had performance issues on console and PC. FromSoft’s doesn’t make the most optimized games. And yes the studio has gotten free-passes.
Demon Souls remake doesn’t use FromSoft’s engine, it was build using Blue Point’s own technology.
Fromsoft has a history of releasing titles with questionable performance. Elden Ring’s performance issues should be expected as the title is still using the same engine as the Souls games.
The skulls are usually pretty well hidden. Most players don’t find them.
Platinum has stretched themselves too thin by working on so many projects. Bayonetta 3 is behind schedule and Babylon’s Fall looks below mediocre.
Having played both series, in my opinion the Horizon games are very much influenced by Tomb Raider (2013). However, the two lead characters are very different.
No, Cyberpunk 2077 a first person Action RPG. It includes optional quests, dialogue options, character customization, weapon customization, skill progression and level progression. Now, please explain to me how Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t an RPG?
I still own a Wii U. It didn’t get much playtime from me, it was really only a good system if you were hardcore into Nintendo games. the screened controller gimmick, dated hardware, high game prices and limited library put me off the console within a year.
