and people wonder why sony wants to do a multiplayer title and released a lego game. the franchise is massive.
lordie those xbox console sales are sad.
im certain the fives of tens of people who would have bought it on xbox will be okay.
It's nice to hear a story about a game's development progressing well instead of being on fire.
Finally.
We already knew that.
this is a great move. i think every multiplayer service sony offers should be multiplatform. do the same for fairgame$
which is ironic because DS1 WAS a smash hit, having sold over 8 million copies. looks like kojima has another hit on his hands. and even now, steam players are flocking to play DS1 with concurrent players smashing the records set when the game launched 3 years ago.
is it an oof tho? how many more players have shifted to digital since 2019? i reckon a lot. i got a physical copy of DS but opted for the digital for DS2 cause of the 2-day early access.
Yeah, remember NFL Blitz.
Makes sense. MS spent nearly 100 billion dollars to take Xbox from third place to third place.
it was not. it greatly expanded the areas and puzzles to the point where it felt like an entirely new game. the enemies and boss fights were given a MASSIVE upgrade. the abstract daddy fight in particular was incredible. and the team added two new endings.
not everything needs to be at SGF. and judging by the reaction and the amount of views the trailer has already garnered, it didn't really need to be there.
Dino Crisis Remake. It's time.
they are so going to try to sell the extra content later down the line.
If this thing exceeds 1K, then the broader market will not buy it. Pricing at this structure sounds like it's geared towards Xbox's most die-hard fans.
this partnership was so much more than sony paying to keep xbox players from playing it:

the game wouldn't have become what it is today without sony's support.
I sense similar success with Lost Soul Aside and Phantom Blade Zero.
look at stellar blade on PC. over a year later and it's already sold over a million copies. this has nothing to do with marketing or hype. the xbox audience, broadly speaking, just doesn't purchase games.
samus: am i a joke to you?
you know, writer of this article, we can have both, strong main characters, and those who also need saving. there is nothing wrong with that.
