Likewise. The gamecube game was damn awesome, I had the opportunity to play through a large chunk of the game with 3 players.
This is the kind of game that would demonstrate how useful having a second screen really is.
"Ten years ago, Nintendo largely catered to kids and Nintendo fanboys," Creutz said. "There was about a five year period they could expand their market beyond that, and now I think they're back back to the kids and Nintendo fanboys again. It's not a bad market but it's not a market that's going to grow enormously."
So much wrong with this. So only fanboys buy Nintendo games now? The reason Wii software is down so much is because Nintendo ...
Dead Space should be on that list.
I am a core gamer and I used to preorder all my games from Gamestop... then Amazon came along, offering release day delivery for $1, $10-20 credits for next purchases, and tax free... kinda makes me think core gamers are stupid if they think Gamestop is still the best.
not tryin to troll but why would you trade in your vita so soon (unless it was a gift?) It hasn't even been out that long..
(I don't even have one, but if I went ahead and spent the money on it I'd be holding on to it..)
And gamestop is still probably the worst used game distributor, although it is the largest.
It's not uncommon to find Amazon offering the same game for the same price.. only the difference is with Amazon the game is brand new instead of used.
Why does there need to be a special "place" for gamers to buy games.. Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart consistently have better deals and with more frequency for games. And I can't stress enough the convenience and unbeatable prices of Amazon, especially since its tax free and you can get many games on release day delivery for a measly buck.
I don't hate Gamestop as much as I just think it's a pointless business, unless you never keep your games and you a...
The dude abides!
Holy schnitzel Metroid Metal kicks ass!
http://www.metroidmetal.com...
Super Metroid is super duper
I actually don't hate this list, any of these games stand among the very best of their respective generations. Obviously its subjective, but still solid picks imo.
I'd have to pick SMB 3 over the original (obviously the OG SMB has a more meaningful legacy, but SMB3 is undoubtedly the better game)
Super Metroid is a mighty fine choice, can't argue there, but LttP, Super Mario World, Final Fantasy VI, and Chrono Trigger are all equally as deserving...
Osmos HD
Dungeon Story (or any Kariosoft game)
Super Stickman Golf
Anomaly HD
Battleheart
Dead Space
Order and Chaos
Edge EX
World of Goo
Zen Pinball HD
Hint: There are no $20 credit games
Amazon used to offer faaaaar more games with $10-20 credit. It seems now they'd rather go the gamestop route with pointless dlc or special casing or art books.
Call me crazy but that stuff doesn't entice me like $10 or $20.
Still, tax free and RDD for a buck makes Amazon my preferred day one retailer, regardless of how weak the promos have become.
This stuff is the future. I imagine the technology could be improved to the point where it will trick your eye into seeing a virtual screen that appears to be at a programmable distance. Once the technology is enhanced enough, there would be little point to most devices reliant on physical screens; cell phones, handheld devices, maybe even televisions, could become a thing of the past (though who knows how long it would take for the tech to be perfected.. could take 20 or 30 more years...) ...
I have this on android, excellent game. Would never pay $10 for it though.
You should check out RE Revelations if you want more of the old school stuff, the Jill sections are legitimately creepy and more survival horror focused while the Chris sections are more actiony. I think that's how RE6 is supposed to pan out more or less, both of best worlds represented in a split storyline.
Cvg must not even have a ps3.. You would have to assume so after seeing this insulting list
Quantity usually means more quality, dude.
Is there more likely to be 3 amazing games out of 5 possible, or 20 possible games? Don't try to spin this into something negative.. There's nothing wrong with a little optimism.
Pokemon for 3ds can come out whenever it damn well pleases and move systems like nobody's business.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
I mean, honestly, is he really comparing PSP and DS sales from last year?
And to everyone thinking God of War and Halo are going to be big system sellers... everyone interested in those games most likely already have the system, especially considering they already have a game out for it.
