All I can say is Diablo what?
Probably an appropriate score for someone who won't feed off the nostalgic element of the game. Personally I think it is a bit too easy for a rhythm game (even the highest level dark notes failed to challenge me in any meaningful way) but the presentation value and fan service goes a long way to help overlook the shortcomings.
I love RE5. Gold edition + move + online co-op with my brother is by far the most enjoyable RE experience I've had, survival horror grudges be damned. Really looking forward to 6, even the 3DS game was great.
Of course it could only be luck because Pachter was dead wrong about it. What an assclown.
He's definitely a jerk for assuming only "hardcore Nintendo fanboys" will buy Wii U, and that "they could release a cardboard box and say it plays Mario and [Nintendo fanboys] would buy it. Why does this guy hate Nintendo and their fans so much?
Assassin's Creed
meh
The first pokemon game on 3DS really needs its own generation to start from and shake things up again with regard to presentation and graphics. So imo it makes perfect sense for this to be on the DS, not to mention the ridiculous install base that is there and how successful the Pokemon franchise has been on the system. If any game can sell millions this late into the DS life cycle, it would be this.
Agreed. So Sony has better free and paid services. Pretty obvious.
Curious how he settled on that price, why not leave it at 1 mil and call it a day
ah.. 999,999 euro. Exchange rate. Silly me.
The industry won't die, innovation or not. It could definitely become smaller however, especially the retail end of gaming. Digital is the future.
"Funny enough, the 3DS had less games during the same time period yet no one complained"

Xenoblade is the best JRPG in a decade. This list is full of good games but fails for not including it.
Also The Dark Spire isnt even in the 10 best DS rpgs.. I get the old school charm but its not in the same league as DQ IX,FFTA2, Bowsers Inside Story, Devil Surivor, Strange Journey, Infinite Space, Pokemon Black/White, Knights in the nightmare,or the world ends with you.
Even as far as old school type rpgs go, the etrian odyssey series is much better.
Not many PS3 owners have the dough for all the exclusives released...
On the other hand owning all the Xbox exclusives in a given year isn't that difficult, and considering the exclusives are 99.9% of the time from 1 of 3 well established franchises (Halo, Forza, Gears) it's not that much of a SHOCKER.
Was going to say Guild Wars 2
you can question the quality or power of nintendo systems but not the quality of their games.
I will buy every Nintendo system they release (not every iteration of it) simply because they make fantastic games that can't be played elsewhere.
If you are buying systems just to jack off to specs then you obviously need a new hobby.
I actually thought this was a well written and thought out article.
I'd definitely be for a more mature and thought provoking storyline. On the other hand if it stayed the way it was I wouldn't mind so much either. As long as it's fun to play that's what I'm mostly concerned about.
"Spoink bounces around on its tail. The shock of its bouncing makes its heart pump. As a result, this Pokémon cannot afford to stop bouncing – if it stops, its heart will stop."
I was like.. that's not THAT disturbing, it's just kind of interesting and strange. But then the explanation makes perfect sense.. and its disturbing but in a rather funny way I'd say...
"I’m sure some excited 10-year-old Pokemon Trainer has, at one po...
....these deals would still suck even if they weren't for sucky games.
Suck.
Could be that Sony and MS haven't succeeded in the mobile/handheld space as much as they have liked, and they feel the best way to get it out of the doldrums is to have it piggyback off the success of their consoles.
I wish Nintendo would have better integration between the two systems, but I think their systems will find plenty of success regardless of that.
I personally hate in game ads and have purchased well over 20 games from the android market. Maybe part of the reason less Android users don't buy apps is because you don't set up payment info upon creating a Google account (like you do for an apple ID)
