1. Both casual and core markets can coexist
2. Digital media has worked out just fine for music, film, and television
3. Explain what is wrong with paying for a service, if it works and brings you great content that is all that matters
Nintendo historically doesn't blow their load at E3. They do stuff on their own time sort of like Apple. People need to lower their ridiculous expectations for E3 reveals.
Jaded gamers attempting to spoil the fun for the rest of us.
It will not work on me.
yesssss looks good, can't wait to see more. Castlevania games on DS were some of the systems best..
Agreed, Picross 3D was probably the best pure puzzle game on the system along with Pic Pic (which wasn't available in US.) I'm hoping for a sequel on 3DS.. Picross 3D 3D?
That is quite a head of hair
Fantastic game, nothing else like it, super addicting and tons of content.
Hope there's a 3DS sequel eventually.
lol

Hope this is true.. TWEWY is one of the best handheld games ever made.
No offense but you flip flopped what 95% of n4g believes. Trollin'

Haters be damned.
Looking more like a day one purchase every time I read something about this game
I'm sorry not trying to be a troll but how is Shadow of the Colossus underrated? It's easily one of the most fondly remembered PS2 by gamers and critics alike.
Edit: beat me to it Janitor
Diablo motherfreaking 3 finally is almost out.. Hard to believe.
D3 and Dragons Dogma are the only games I'm for certain getting... Starhawk, Max Payne, and Mario Tennis are all possibles.
People will be saying the same thing about the Wii in 5 years.
I approve of this list.
Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, Prince of Persia, Beyond Good and Evil, and Timesplitters 2 could have all easily made their way into this list.. shoulda made it a top 30 >_>
I consider myself a collector (I never sell my games, have close to 100 for each system I own) but I am actually all for digital distribution. I don't mind my collection being in digital format, and I'm not at all concerned about not being able to buy games used as I typically purchase them new.
If you think its bad now, wait until july and august. Those are the real desert months.
May has a bunch of good games slated to release..
DIABLO 3 BITCHES!!!!
Does this even qualify as an article? I was expecting a manifesto of sorts full of grandoise, stats, and examples but it simply boils down to conjecture. The video game market is absolutely NOTHING like it was when it crashed in the 80s. Its absolutely too large of an industry for producers, developers, and other people who profit from it to ignore.
And as much as gamers whine about a future where you can't get hard staring at your huge collection of plastic cases, i...
