Wind Waker is one of the best Zelda games and the art direction is timeless.
Not many people agree about this, but I think the general public is getting used to paying a couple bucks for a game on their ipod or smartphone. Most kids want an iPod touch more than they want a 3DS or PS Vita.
$60 is way too much for a video game these days and digital distribution has brought something of a sea change to the way we perceive value with games. I don't feel at all sorry for retailers and any institution that staunchly embraces old media. No one feels ...
I'd rather be a digital hoarder than a physical hoarder.

u mad
I have over 80 retail games for PS3 and only a handful are FPS so what the ef are you talking about
Listed =/= sold
99.9% of the people who will help sell out the Wii U neither know or care about E3 or gaming press conferences.

Don't like it, fine. Saying it's not relevant, ludicrous.
Wow damage control throughout this entire thread, rather than having anything positive to say about your beloved MS you make excuses for them and have to downplay everything Sony showed us.
Whether or not Sony's games don't have a release window, I'll trust history and enjoy the fact that Sony consistently gives gamers more games.
well said, +bubs ^
It's weird that Sony wants their console to go out with a bang and not a fizzle? It's weird that Sony doesn't want to disappoint their fanbase?
@nukeitall
You got me there; I am generally only interested in single player games. As far as playing online, I'd rather play with friends than complete strangers. All of my friends have a PS3 so on the rare occasion I want to play online with someone, I do have that luxury, and thankfully they all have headsets.
As far as the games, sure both systems may have a relatively close quantity of exclusives, but to argue the quality is on par across the board...
Yeah but the key there is "right now". With the rate that technology is progressing I think cloud gaming will be pretty much perfect in another 7-10 years, hence why I said maybe 2-3 console generations away.
And the adoption rate for extra-high speed internet is only to go up. No one really has dial-up anymore, for example. High speed will probably be the only thing available in another 10 years.
Its little things like lack of fast travel and repetitive enemy spawning that hold this game back. As a whole its a fantastic game.. just a bit rough around the edges. Not a game for everyone. I hope they release a sequel that fixes the small annoying things.
Console gaming could definitely go away, not sure if next gen will be the last but if not the one after probably will be. People doubt the power of cloud gaming + smart TVs.
Physical media is old. In an age where the market has fully embraced MP3s, internet news, and video services like Netflix and Hulu its perplexing to me why gamers think video games need to be any different. I have huge game collections myself but I for one won't mind one bit to have those collectio...
hits
Graphics definitely are good enough, but I'm sure there will be another point where we will look back on the graphics of today and think wow... games sure look a million times better now, it's hard to believe this was as good as it could get.
But even though I think graphics are good enough, I would like better performance with regard to framerate, screen tearing, draw distance, texture pop-in, ect.

Ok you win
Thanks Nintendo for saving the industry and creating many fond memories.
