Let's not forget... WiiFit also = a new innovative interface for games.
I'ma throw some punk to the ground using the gesture-based Wii remote, then curb-stomp his ass using the Wii Balance Board.
Or actually snowboard down a mountain by standing on the WiiBB and shifting my weight around.
Or strafe around a corner simply by pressing down a foot one way or another.
I'm sure you can come up with other sweet ideas that will make games a...
Oh I get it. That's why it's so funny.
Lol, now I have disagrees too. (: You guys kill me sometimes. That's why I love this place so much. Tonnes o' humour.
Who disagrees with a comment like that? Sheesh.
This looks bloody brilliant!
Bee-Mario FTW!
Now let's get these Balance Boards out to developers so they can start making some sweet games!
Wii Remote + Wii Balance Board = Serious Potential!
Curb-stomp anyone?! (Although I'm sure something like that would get banned for being 'too realistic'.) But bring it!!
Oh, and I'm sure Wii Fit will be kinda fun too... but give me some hard-core sh!t with this junk, yo!
They announced two dates. Something for Dec 3, and something for Nov 12. One of them was Mario Galaxy.
And they showed in-game action of Metroid, which looks sweet.
Edit: Smash Bros. Dec 3. Mario Galaxy Nov 12.
Not sure if anyone actually saw any of the E3 Nintendo press conference... but the Wii Balance Board is sick! Combine that baby with the already unique controls of the Wii, and you're going to see some seriously immersive games in the future.
And obviously you can use it under your feet while you're sitting too (for those concerned about having to be up-and-about to play a game).
But ya, could you imagine strafing in a game just by shifting your weight a bit? O...
Hmmm... cool. Looks like with WiiConnect24 it could have dynamic Olympic/World records. (9.77s and 9.84s in 100m are the current WR/OR times.)
If starting out like crap, and then improving things to start selling at an average level is a great success, then yes, things are looking good for Sony.
But where I come from, starting out like crap, and then increasing to average still won't get you into the NFL or allow you to compete with the big boys.
Sony still has LOTS of work to do before things will really look good for them. And let's not forget... there IS other competition they're up against.
...
The ESRB notification isn't part of the game dude...
What a bunch of BS. If you look at it from another angle it looks like "* * *".
People who claim something like this is racist, are just as racist as the people they claim are racist. (Wrap your head around that, then accept it.)
I've wasted enough time on this rubbish. I'm out.
If they want to improve their situation in Japan, they better hope they're able to land a deal with SE to provide Final Fantasy XIII on the 360. That's the only thing that might save them, and even still it probably won't be enough.
If by "horrible punch" you mean "cheap shot"... then yes, I agree. In all honesty though, a comment like that makes Sony look far worse than it makes MS look.
And that, sir, is why you only have one bubble. Congrats.
Oh my god! Did anyone actually read any of the article?! It says that Wii sales plunged ON EBAY!... but eventhough they plunged, they're STILL the best selling eBay console.
And even still... the fact that online sales of Wii are dropping only means that Nintendo is starting to catch up on its production, and people are actually able to find one in stores instead of having to resort to purchasing online.
That is all.
... and get a proper title on it too. "Wii-online" is HARDLY limited to the use of the Opera browser. The title makes it sound as if Nintendo is going to start charging to have ANY sort of network connection at all.
I've gotta admit. This is one of those ideas where you think "Damn, why didn't I think of that?"
It may take a while, but I think this form of transaction will be huge in the future.
I smell an add-on hard drive in the future... or at least one would hope.
Don't you like games? Nintendo themselves have made many of the best ever.
Oh well... to each his own. You'll be missing out on some good stuff though.
