I'm past the point where I actually have to READ your comments to know that I'll be disagreeing with them.
I have yet to read a single intelligent thing from you!
Not that you deserve to lose bubbles for this particular post, but was it your goal to get to 1 bubble at record pace?!
EDIT: Your reply to my post... further proof of what an immature fool you actually are.
The thing that really set this game apart from others such as Doom1/2 was the fact that bullets to different parts of the anatomy would have different effects / animations.
One-hit-kill headshots instantly became a classic and skillful technique.
That's what really made this game great (among other things of course).
...I think Sony is dead wrong thinking the EyeToy expanded/will-expand the video game audience.
The EyeToy is definitely not a system seller, therefore existing PS2/PS3 owners are the only market for it. How does that expand the audience at all?
Priceless!
That's far better than the pure hilarity that comes from the pic of Iwata and Miyamoto saying the Wii prints its own money (and that one brought the funny on multiple levels)!
... because it takes a number of weeks to compile / confirm the data before they can release these official numbers.
That's a pretty sweet addition all right.
Kinda reminds me of things you can do in Little Big Planet to a lesser degree.
Either way, that is going to make for some whack multiplayer action!
This should be one fun game! I can even see my Mom (who is 59) getting a few kicks out of this!
The deal indicated that only Spielberg *directed* movies would be multi-format.
Sheesh. What else would they say. Like they actually give a rat's ass about the consumers, and less confusion, and growth of the movie industry. All they want is the $$.
I just think it's impressive that they're comparing possibly two of the *best games ever made*... for the *same* system!... with release dates just over *a month apart*! When the heck has that ever happened before??
(Of course, this is all assuming that Halo 3 lives up to what everyone's expecting!)
I fear that no FPS will ever be the same once we get our hands on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption though. Going back to stick aiming after that will be like going back ...
No, can't say that I've read those.
Harrison usually has some interesting stuff to say (unlike the other PR fools out there).
But anyway... to further add to my story.
I tucked the chipmunk into my sweater to try to warm it up. When it was finally revived enough to move around a bit, it crawled up my sleeve. When it poked its head out and saw me staring at it, it too a damn dump in my shirt! Lol! Harrison is going to do the same once he wakes u...
Peanut Pop Gun FTW!
This game is going to be rocking all night long, every night, for many a month after release!!
... but damn! I haven't seen anything floundering like that since I was canoeing down the Red Deer River and noticed a young chipmunk floating along, barely able to keep it's waterlogged body afloat. Haplessly dog-paddling away in an exhaustive state, mere minutes away from certain death!
Luckily I managed to scoop it out with my paddle and rescue the little critter!
Anyway, that interview with Phil Harrison reminded me of that poor helpless chipmunk.
Heard about this a while ago, but ya!... that's pretty schweet!
Wtf?! No Mario on that list?!
All Miyamoto characters kick some serious arse!
(lmao)
... games have included things like this for years.
They make is seem like the very first game to ever do anything like this was for the Xbox 360.
But either way, guess it's kinda cool they're including this in MP3. There's just so much damn stuff to scan though... it can put a wee bit of monotony into the game if someone wants to unlock all the bonus material.
Ya, that next-gen fix will be Nintendo's next console...
Nintendo DS owns Japan! 18/30 are DS games! 4 PS2 games. 2 PSP. 1 PS3. 5 Wii.
That's just crazy!
The numbers are included in the original article (Read Full Article) above.
They asked if anyone thinks it will be a system seller...
... and I'd have to say that no, I don't think so.
PS3 owners will scoop this up. But I can't see a bunch of people running out to buy PS3s just to play this game. It will add to the appeal of owning a PS3, but they need more solid games to back it up before they'll have a true system selling library. One game just can't do it at this point.
