Please stop using the fanboys argument to scapegoat. I'm sorry but this isn't PS3 players complaining about Live it's your fellow xbox supporters. Stop blaming everything on the competitions fans.
Your a Live subscriber defend your fellow supporters and stop blaming others for the obvious. Live isn't running correct. You should be demanding service compensation. I can understand your comment if your anti-xbox but seeing as your a fan of xbox i'm baffled.

If someone wanted to cause MS Live disruption they'd target the peer-to-peer capabilities. Live being as complex and large would make it an easy target. Since it's mostly a unified peer-to-peer service one exploit/flaw could cripple the whole network in one or more reign.
The resulting customer backlash would be something like what we're seeing today.
IMHO, If this is the true cause of the disruption i'm sure MS would be hard pressed to announce they've been disr...
If this is true then it needs fixed. No reason to play online if your going to be kicked for getting your rear kicked. Does this have anything to do with these supposed Christmas bans?
Secondly why are you using that avatar. That avatar is MK reds signature. Seeing he's well respected use of that avatar seems disrespectful.
As always I'd like to open everyone to something new and unique not mentioned on this topic yet.
As large and unified as Live is it seems like it'd make it harder to recover from network issues. One part of the network failing by hackers or whatever might easily cripple it. Maybe this strong unification is the culprit here if exploited. Hackers have been known to disrupt major online services web sites and networks in the past.
If you look at the N4G news a few p...
This disruption seems to have caused service problems for Live. Being a paid service they should hand out a some free online micro transaction points like they did for the RROD. e(^_^)b
On a side note when I saw your post. I thought to myself: Match making should be easy with if you've got a good avatar. (? I wonder why I thought that. ?)
If your downloads are 30 gig a pop I don't think everyone will have the broadband capacity fill these things up. Seriously a lot of ISPs already have 3 gigabyte limits and all that. Broadbandreports.com I think has news about people getting isp ban for being bandwidth hogs.
Sure 35gb is a lot. If your planning to fill these up with the average broadband you'll have patience of a saint, unless your on fiber.
Anyway I'd use it as a backup device if it was affordab...
This would be a nice joke for an old school Mario fan.
When I see people calling others fanboys, fangirls, bots, droids, tools, etc. I think it adds nothing to a topic. It's the same as petty name calling.
If those people need bubbles added or taken away it's because their not controlling themselves enough let everyone see arrongance HAHA attitudes slip out.
If my reason to add to a post is only to call people fanboys or say "ha ha look I just owned you!" I deserve my bubbles taken away.

The PS3 boxes have a serial number taped to the outside of the box located near the plastic handle at the top. I haven't seen any PS3 boxes that still have visible portals into the package showing serial numbers.
If the box had a serial number on the outside and a portal window to the inside it'd make fraud like this a lot harder to get away with. Serial numbers wouldn't match up allowing easy detection. Already most large department stores and retail chains are placing the act...
This thief may get caught if authorities or Sony wish to take action. I highly doubt an investigation will be made over this $500 issue. Standard insurance should cover this theft. Going though steps to track down the thief would probably cost more then $500. So whats the point of doing a full investigation. Sony can still ban the linked console resulting in the owner of the stolen PS3 contacting Sony support.
This reminds me of a thief that stole a Radio Shack (display model) ...
I didn't look on the PS3 box but a lot of consoles I owned have the serial numbers clearly visible from outside the box. The N64 was one if I remember correctly. It'd be easy to look inside and see there is no console if PS3 boxes had this feature. No need to open the box then.
From my understanding this generation all consoles have a unique serial number that can be tracked if a console connects online. This number can be used to lock players off the network completely. (console ban.) It's linked to the actual serial number on the device. Ever wonder what DNAS is?
It'd be easy to find who stole this PS3 if this is true. The victim would only need to send the box including serial number back and report it stolen. Sony would then setup a registration r...
I'd like to see one flying through solar system.
Game wise another interesting concept would be an AI fighter ship fighting off enemies generated by the music.
IMHO, This'd also be a nice concept for a game like everyday shooter. You load the game up then select a song to play. The enemies in that level are generated by the music while it plays. You can rewind your music and try again if you get killed. A gamer visualiser hybrid. It'd seem like a great new way to...
No reason to ban a console then. They should ban the player who was causing problems. Those credit cards and such lead back to real people and the entities responsible could easily be ban from future joining. Why not just ban the players here. The way it's setup you can simply buy a new 360 and instantly make a new account.
It leads me to believe that as punishment for breaking the rules your given a MS pardon if you buy a new 360.
Clearly the entities responsib...
If I tell you I own 6 360's and four of them are broken with another in the mail would you consider that a rumor?
No, you'd call me a lier if you thought I was telling a lie. Of course if you where reporting my story you couldn't prove that (me your source) was telling fact or fiction.
The only thing your seeing here is people telling you "I got ban and I know my system isn't modded" I can justify it as hear say because the reporter is reporting inform...
That's not the case here. Live is a private network. When we hit accept and join we agree to MS terms. Sadly MS placed a clause in the agreement that protects them here. It in essence says that MS reserves the right to suspend, limit or ban live services without proof.
When you hit accept you basically gave up that right joining a private network. Sony Nintendo, Microsoft and all major MORPGS include these clauses. It grants them the right to control who or what connects to the...
Just seems to much a coincidence that the only way to get back on is buy a new console. Wouldn't they be better to just ban an address or person not the console?
Hmmm... Maybe, just maybe this is MS Christmas rush to energize extra console sales and regain marketshare for the new year. This is all conjecture and conspiracy but it's something to think about.
This is only an opinion however, in this case there could be another reason.
As for the law...
This is amazing I can't believe this worded that well. He definitely needs a job as never thought it possible to make 3D effects like that using a 2D screen without VR glasses.
I've always enjoyed these, I can't wait to see more about this in the future. I really hope this game comes to consoles to not everyone can bare a handheld ^.~
More multi-platform JRPGS please.
For posting this link. Based on this legal agreement MS isn't obligated to issue compensation.
IMHO, It'd be in their best interest to give subscribers of the gold service apologetic compensation.
+ Bubbles for posting this link and informing everyone of this clause.
