When I view folders in my music the list are empty now. unless I select view all. The music being sorted by author has nothing in the directories yet the folder has the data and MP3s in there if I click view all.

These folders where created by the PS3 yet suddenly only show up if you select special options.

This isn't normal because I can open the folders through PS3 but they're empty until you tell the software "hay that's right mp3s are in there. Before t...

First off don't get me wrong i'm not sure of what this content will be so only time will tell. I am sure it'll be competing with other franchises by the time it is released.

I for one think that by the time the extra content is released new games like FF13, MGS4, GT5 and the ps3 exclusive La Noir will be out filling the gaps.

As large as GTA is by that time most people (being a gamer myself) will have moved on to other adventures in gaming. Remember this game is ...

Your comparing 2600 games with this gen games. That's stretching the use of fun factor a bit isn't it.

Based on what people are saying the 360 and PS3 are comparable in quality yet one is superior in hardware. What console is it? The console that's easy to make games for or the one that is more complex?

Comparing outdated technology with new technology is unfair. Wii isn't revolutionary but the game quality is no where near atari 2600.

This isn't ...

Is this like the other WD book series that has a bunch of DRM locks? Seriously what the point of having so much space if you can't store everything you own on it?

My comment about games being relistic was sarcastic at best. Yes I do agree with you. I also think reality isn't what makes great games. Games that are fun make them great, especially if they sale well.

Although I didn't disagree, it seems like others did. I wonder why. Could it be because some people think technology makes a better game then fun factor?

My post also got disagrees even though I was very objective about the strengths and weaknesses of technology advancements.

Sometimes your in a lose lose situation when explaining your views.

Monkey boy in FF9, he seems to think natural creation of life is the only way these races where created. Remember in this game near the end his form was explained.

The 108 stars isn't so true in that game your whole 108 heros do get to lay siege at the end of the game as an army.

Whose to say that the team being left behind aren't working on supply or protecting the fort?

Like I said some of these things are just plain silly reasons to mock JRPGS. ...

Even if Wii was successful there will always be a few techogeeks wanting a high end device.

The only thing that really worries people is will the market support them. Another thing that might catch peoples attention is the jump to next gen would have to be pretty impressive to gain mainstream support.

It's like DVD to HD-DVD and Blu-ray. Unlike the jump from VHS to DVD the digital difference is far more appealing to the general customer base then the DVD to HD ma...

Seriously, I know how it seems that way but people complain because they care. Money is one of those things that developers want. They want hype to generate intertest. Just after hype reaches it's apex then things suddenly change.

I'm a member of MORPGS and sent several complains about game design. Stupid things the need fixed bad. Do devs care if I complain probably not, because their to busy nerfing what makes the game fun.

Hype some new features and put them i...

After they made that "do you want it" advertisements Sony let that agency go. >.<

Last year before that commercial I made a fourm topic "if you was sony and advertising PS3 how would you do your add"

That do you want it commercial was basically exactly how I wrote it on gamefaqs without the music or image specifics. In essence my commercial was a transforming PS3 showing features and ending with starting at $499.

Yea, I ag...

This was dumb but at least he didn't contact the police and ask for money.

A while back some police where driving down the street and an addict thought a drug dealer had given him poor quality product. He ran the police off the road (stopped them) and ask them to help him get his $%##ing money. He complained that a drug dealer ripped him off and showed the officers his drugs yelling at the top of his lungs to arrest the seller for ripping him off. <-- Moron 2.0! O.o

If Sony is banking on this product being an open ended PC alternative they should at leather open up some of the core features.

This is basically a PC with 256mb base rand and a 256mb video ram. Unfortunately the video ram is kinda useless as a PC.

The PS3 is more less in it's own class of PC it's an RSC.

Restricted Sony Computer.

Sony makes PC's why not develop your own distro and open up the video. I assume come PS4 launch Sony w...

Anyone can come up with an idea to do something. Having an idea isn't the same as developing that idea. The problem with is complainant is she claims to have thought it up but never put it into practical application.

Perhaps technology patent laws need changed. In the past you could easyly make diagrams of working devices. Now days you can just say you have an idea put it on paper and when someone else develops it you step in to reap the rewards.

I think this us ...

I've been looking closely at this representation. It appears as though this technology incorporates a moving actuater that internally selects specific chips within the array.

I'm wondering how reliable this technology would be in the field. Today we've got HDD's that have MTBF ratings of 15,000 hours or more. That wasn't always the when HDD technology was first introduced.

I'm also wondering how this would effect performance. All that data with an actuater moving...

Yesterday I commented about Microsoft's plans for digital distribution. One of my statements included a comment about flash media being to small for hd digital movies. In this statement one of the reasons I assumed music MP3s took off was because you could store an entire music collections on a single usb flash device.

I truly believe this new flash technology would be a way to elevate the popularity of digital distribution. Current technology flash memory is to restrained to s...

I just stuck the furry side velcro tape on the triggers. No more slippery triggers.

Actually, the velcro was to hold the triggers down so I could use 1 handed keyboard commands but after leaving them on it became apparent the benefits. The company who sales the industrial adhesive velcro is velcro.com. This stuff is better then duct tape.

Audio compression strips out the softer sounds that aren't heard by the human ear over the dominant louder sounds. I'm sorry, my previous post indicated that the loud sounds where stripped out in audio compression. Purely unintentional on my part as I know what I meant came out backwards.

I wanted to fix it but the editing timer didn't give enough time. T.T

Wow, Some people just don't get it. 9331, you should explain a few of these situations when giving those examples. People don't always see the differences when their not given real world performance differences in detail.

The difference in MP3's taking over the CD market is because you can literally fit more high quality songs in a thumb drive then in a standard CD.

Even if the CD is filled with MP3's it's stil, no match for a single 4gb I-pod.

No the easy one was them defeating the protection in Windows OS's by turning off auto-run

For the most part it was holding down a button when you inserted a CD.

I also remember Sony getting sued for installing root kits in some of their CD's as well. It was something I'm not to fond about them doing.
