Install base +1 =)

Gaming is addictive, like drugs to some people. They need their fix. When their console breaks it doesn't matter to these people they're willing to feed the machine money to get their hobby, err fix.

As long as the RROD ad hardware failures the console will continue to "SHIP" and gain install base numbers.

If you like to chew one brand of GUM it'll sell well because it's consumable. 360 is basically a consumable hardware that is a subscription console. Once it's warranty is out you need to make a new purchase. Excellent way to calculate sales and install bases. The numbers always go up even if people no longer own those replaced consoles.

I like the idea, and I'm interested in this story but it seems too far fetched to be true.

Is there more evidence? If people can actually edit files uploaded and downloaded that would be dangerous. Consider someone replacing the theater screen with pron. I doubt Sony would allow that exploit to remain very long if it's the case.

It looks like he hacked a files on the client side. The service only downloads the data once to the HDD most of the time to increase loading speeds. If the data isn't updated no reason download the data multiple times.

I've not playing this game yet but I do have a copy.

I've noticed some similarity in LBP music. LBP sounds like other tiles as well. While listening to the music sometimes I think Super Mario Bro's, Zelda, drakes fortune and other games I've played in the past.

Maybe it's just the instruments.

Why would someone make it from hemp. It's like the controller is multiple purpose. #1 Play games, #2 medical uses and #3 when he's bored of it he can just set it on fire as incense. O.o

We know what hemp really is. If not A little Google search might clear that up. Not sure if this is the psychoactive material.

Look it says Playstation Network.

Does then mean it'll be like fable and have online components?

"Starting today, owners of the pricey PlayStation 3 — there are nearly 17 million of them worldwide, a scant 200,000 of whom live in the U.S. — can download the software for free via Sony's PlayStation Network"

The subject is the ability to download the home software.

Am I the only one who understood that sentence?

Translation : Of the 17 million PS3's worldwide a scant 200,000 of the users live in the us can download it. This doesn't mean tha...

All those down loadable games makes Xbox 360 a very attractive system for pirates. I assume this helps drive the purchases for those $199 units.

Question: What percentage of those 25million 360's are modded? I'm sure DEV's like SquareEnix would like to know these numbers, seeing as the platform is cracked. I assume SE's big name games will be on that list shortly if not already.

If the hack is to complicated then it's not worth creating. No hacker is going to try and sell a hack that in essence causes the hacks to be more expensive.

What drives these hacks is several things, Homebrew, piracy and glory. Of the 3 Homebrew is already an option without mortification. Glory is just simply being able to say I cracked it. Homebrew isn't really a bad thing unless it's used for illegal activities. Piracy is what pushs hacking. People try and cheat the system so t...

i + ! = O

Look + Excitement = Power On Metal Gear.

Translation : I'm excited Metal Gear is powered on! We have the *GREEN* light!

The I means *Look* or *me*
The ! means excitement or to be caught off guard.
The green power button means it's turned on.

A green color is also symbolic of GO or start, If it was red it'd be stop, fail or off. If it was Yellow it'd be neutral.
