It'd still be a cell chip. The design and functionality it could be cranked up, More Cells could be stacked on the main board, Higher processor speeds.

Look, a good example is the Wii. It's not much over a power improvement over last gen but managed to attract masses do to other design concepts.

Yea, they deny any unofficial sources. Doesn't mean part or any of it is real or fake.

In the heels of Windows 7 they are launching SP2. I was just getting comfortable with service pack one that was installed last year. Not to mention they just unlocked the SP1 for automatic updates.

Whow, this is like drama in the interweb.

Someone should make a TV show like the OS version of ER, dealing with the drama from OS makers and the tech industry. OMG, they're slamming, backstabbing and sense of ethics is overwhelming.

Perfect for TV!

I use manual update and as soon as I saw SP1 I downloaded it.

Not all of the PSN games can be shared.

Warhawk and several PSone games can't be shared. When you look at the download agreement it says "You must be logged on the original account that purchased the game". This Means that if you download it on another PS3 it'll only work if your signed in to the account that bought it.

Saw this yesterday when looking at a few PlayStation 1 game downloads.

I'm with you Lokiroo420 just thought you should be made...

I remember this game, I actually thought is was cool except for some of those game play flaws.

I seriously belive if those flaws where fixed this would've been an epic level game.

To bad it failed in so many ways the concept and adventure seemed awesome.

If there are good scores across the board that means success. A famous game means a lot of excitement positive press chatter. What you have is people seeing those high numbers and saying, That must be a good game I'm gonna buy it/rent it whatever.

This means people tell friends and their friends tell more friends. Is it not obvious that popular games are system sellers because they draw attention to whatever consoles they're made for?

Who cares about ratings? Pretty ...

There where no positives from what I saw only negatives. If that's how reviews are written then everything should be rated a 1. Reading that review tries to take 9 rating down by talking about it likes it's a complete failure as a FPS.

There are PC emulators out there that emulate the PS2 software. Not 100% but it works. Everything else could run updated PSN versions or free emulated of them using the original ps2 content on the disk to enable them.

The DLC PS2 games could be FREE provided the PS2 disk is inside the unit otherwise the full download is needed. Look at FF most of the game content is the movies (stored on the original disk) the rest of the engine could be updated to make the software fully compati...

The whole issue isn't about just the PS3. Sony is earning from PS2, PSP and PS3 hardware and the online experience.

The 360 doesn't only earn revenue from console sales or game royalties. They also charge for Xbox live which forces people to pay for online gaming as a service.

Their next step is the new pay-as-you-go silver membership where if you choose to play online you'll be charged an hourly rate if you exceed the cost of a gold membership you'll be temperately ...

I agree, I hate to say it but, there are multiple things that need fixed.

1. The negative press. You have so much negative press from top sources that everyone starts believing it. Hopefully all the good killzone press will change things.

2. The best promotion is the customers themselves. If your people aren't happy they aren't going to get excited about your product and promote it. The Xbox had Halo and a lot of collage students etc took a liking to it. These people...

This MMO is outdated and not as popular anymore compared to WOW. If they're going to expect casuals they need to fix a few things that will bring in casual gamers too.

"they also say that the pack is completely free"

This is awesome news, at least it's not a nickle and dime DLC.

This market is big it's no wonder some companies make it big while others fail.

It'd be nice to see a pie chart dividing this number among the industry hardware and software developers. That would be impressive.

Your trailers are advertisements so as a developer you don't want to hype your product or do you? I really don't see why they'd want this to be kept in the dark it looked cool to me.

Maybe it's not finished yet or they want to cause more pre-hype. To late it's out there.

Looks like the help was them getting more hit's more then actually helping. The help the site gave was common sense knowledge, If it doesn't work try reinstalling something. LOL

By that time console makers might be all portable!

Just think if we had a console with all the power of a PS3 that was portable with it's own touch screen. The drive device that holds the cheap media wirelessly connects to all your games over the internet or through the new bluetooth spec.

It's already started to head this direction with mobile phones, PSP etc. The big bulky consoles devices might soon disappear or become simple docking stations for high end portab...

I only remember Need for speed undercover having advertisements with the PS3 logo. The point I'm trying to make isn't for exclusives or timed exclusives. I'm talking about multi-platform simultaneous launches.

My comment has no nothing on Mirrors Edge. The titles I'm talking about are multi-platform games that are on more then one console at the same time. Not Games that are released months after each other.

Fallout 3, Need for Speed Undercover, Devil May Cry, Grand ...
