Crashes and racing go hand in hand. When people go to the track crashs are a given and people there expect to see them. Even though crashs aren't the primary point to spectators if there was none the race track wouldn't be as interesting.

A big part of being a race driver is knowing your limits. Without the ability to crash in a simulation that fear factor and adrenaline rush is significantly reduced. If anything, the crashs aren't being put in so people can play ...

This is the first time I've seen roll overs in GT, I've tried in in all the versions this far and never been able to roll a car. Now this simulator is looking better then ever.

In GT one I took tweeked mini box cars from the easy clubman race to ride on 2 wheels every turn. Could never get them to roll but it was funny to watch!

steam has it's own cross game chat, could this mean it'll be another way to access cross game chat?

What about PC games like FF11 etc.

If I use move this controller + move would be the way I'd want to play.

I can understand why you'd think the controller in one hand would e a big deal. I do have my reasons for it not being overly complex. You see I play an mmo and have grown accustomed to using 2 joysticks, a mic, 2 controllers, 2 keyboards with mouse support and a video switch.

I see the move controller more like the mouse control part but with more 3 dimensional capability. When I...

In the videos and demos I thought I saw a woman sitting on couch driving. At least that's what I thought I remember.

Could have been my imagination. So I agree *seriously?*

Does it come in black? I'd want the move and gun to match.

It seems higher picture quality then the last versions. I'm thinking Square Enix engines have something to do with the better image quality. I also think they're trying for Uncharted level detail this time around. I'm not holding my breath though it is after all a multi and the images shown could be PC only.

Let the busyness end of the event go 3 days then open the event to the public a few days. That way the press, developers etc get the main event done and the public gets a chance as well.

Taking into account the general population interest and logic, (not the tech heads, hardcore or knowledgeable people) Microsoft has been very effective selling ice to the Eskimo.

They happen to do really well at convening the average person who isn't well versed in technology that they need the product Microsoft is selling. *Take note*, if your reading this post as member of N4G this excludes you. We invest more time reading about the industry. The people that fall into t...

This one looks like something I might be interested in. Another animie JRPG like TOV

It resembles a "Tales of" series.

Actually it looks more like Cross Edge game play. The world maps etc.

"totally non transferable?
if your gaming on ps3, they have new-ish hard drive transfer, which i used when i got my new slim, and was able to move ALL game saves just fine. even all the locked ones. not only is it doable, but really easy, too."

When your system dies this transfer feature isn't really an option. A dead system is one where you can't access the data without the original unit functioning. If you can't make transferable saves beforeha...

3rd party exclusives helped one console in the early stages up to a few years after launch. Things changed now both consoles have a strong user bases and are doing very well in the market.

In the early stages just after launch a lot of owners feared one console bailing out of the market or not having enough titles. Now that both are doing well it's not as big an issue.

The only problem that I can for see is some titles will not get pushed to the max beca...

Companies will keep doing these things. They already lock game saves on some systems so if your system dies everything you earned dies with it. (excluding trophies) Their next step is to make the games run on one system only so each copy is limited like download content.

IE: once a protected game save is created using the one time activation codes they'll no longer work on new systems making them totally non-transferable.

As long as there are customers wh...

nothing is free. there is always a cost. Even though PSN doesn't cost money from a subscription Sony pays for it, also you paid for the PS3 hardware and software to use it.

What is different here though is the product had features that where included some and people paid for them. This was no optional update. Either you updated or your system stopped functioning elsewhere.

So no matter which choice you took you'd be losing features you paid for that w...
