IMHO the controller is like Xbox I don't like the setup. I don't know what is wrong with hardware makers these days thinking everyone likes the analogs in the dpad spot but I sure as heck don't. These should be optional where you can pop out the analogs and dpad allowing the user to switch to their preferences not the status quoe of some biased designer.
You could get it re-balled at gophermods or another respective company. I had 1 PS3 YLOD sent it to Sony LOST everything. Got a referbrished one from Sony it LOST everything then got yet another refurbished one.
In my bedroom one I took a risk ad sent it to gophermods. It repaired without losing any data for under $100. I wanted re-ball service then but it wasn't available. I bought a slim transferred everything too it and packed up my PS3 fat. The PS3 fat has been sittin...
This can be fixed with a few added steps.
Instead of allowing the password reset right there, send a confirmation to the email that requires you to respond to a new link inside the email before allowing the reset.
If the password can be reset without verification from the e-mail then it's not secure at all.
Unless I'm unclear this feature allows the password to be changed to whoever has the correct birth date and e-mail information. I...
Waoh, I never thought a violin (any kind) could produce a sound like that.
None the less it sounded very good.
To bad Sony japan announced when PSN should really as well. This is what people are starting expect on the internets these days. There are a lot of rumors and propaganda flying around. It's apparent even reputable are sources relaying them for hits.
Yea look at this link May 31st? (warning not work suitable)

This is one thing I've hated about this generation. You buy digital or physical media and it still uses online resources to activate or unlock modules.
Perhaps now people will realize that digital limitations placed on purchased media don't work or are severely limited when they lose connectivity.
It still burns me up that some game saves are saved in protected format. Copy protecting game saves is extremely lame when the saves can be encrypted and li...
Something else that is being forgotten here. These free month services can also be promotional opportunities. I think the OP Dart89 had this in mind but, didn't fully explain it.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that everyone is getting PSN pluss a month. The truth is I actually made this suggestion on one of my post.
The point I'm trying to make is this free subscription will also allow existing members to experience the PSN pluss serv...
Woah, this doesn't prove a thing. Who says this account wasn't hacked through other services and transactions done on that card. Every time you use a credit card you have to transmit and trust your info with said company. It's not like the card is limited to one service or transaction.
This is like having sex with multiple random partners. If you get a sexually transmitted decease when having unprotected sex with multiple random partners there isn't an easy w...
This Sony is a busyness it's not a non-profit company. You want to donate money it's simple buy their products and services. You don't need to send them handouts like they're on the street starving.
If you really wanna help someone out help the PSN gamers damaged by the security breach in the PSN network. I received a notice from Sony saying account info was compromised.
I think the gamers are hurting equally as attempts on my email have been ...
One month free PSN Pluss for everyone, and a month extension for people who already have it.
Yep, 100% agree, those where the days with the largest spectrum of unique games.
I just finished playing Grandia on PS3 (PS1 downloaded game). The graphics weren't ungodly but the game play was fun and had an extremely well driven story.
Now days it's hard not to hear people complaining about resolutions, polygon count, trophies, achievements or DLC.
I've played several of these Wizardry games. They've all been very tough and closer to automated paper RPGs then actual video games.
If this is the same as previous games it'll be much harder for this generation to accept then say someone in the 90's. There is hardly anything flashy game play wise in previous Wizardry titles. Most are windows full of stats with backdrops for city and tavern zones.
These games are a nitch market and the averag...
@Zag
Sure they can be patched but the people that aren't tied into PSN from the updates using CFW in the first place (IE: The cheats and pirates) aren't going to care about the updates to old software.
Sony can patch GTA3 for the PS2 system. That doesn't mean the people with working illegal copies are going to need updates. It's relatively the same deal with people using CFW and not updating.
If it works and these people hav...
I saying this when they started using the online parts and creating protected/locked saves.
They don't want the users to have control of the content they paid for.
They don't want users to have control of the content they create. (IE: you make a character it's not yours, the experience and credits you earn are still owned by the developer.) If they so choose they can erase it on a whim even if it offers no online advantages over other players. <...
Honestly, this is a partial stop gap. All this did was transfer authentication of new software to PSN. If you can't access PSN some titles won't function to full potential.
#1 The jailbroken PS3's will be locked off PSN for the time being , and continue to play 3rd party content off PSN. These Systems will continue doing what they do most of the time with or without PSN access.
#2 The people who have CFW and BANNED systems will just buy a legitima...
I spent so many hours on this game that I wrote a FAQ about tempering weapons. Now though it's practically useless as the secrets where unlocked that allow weapons and armor to be crafted all 15's.
I remember spending days on end tempering weapons and tweaking that robot. I actuality made 2 saves (one got corrupted) used the corrupted one to temper weapons to sell to myself without expending materials.
Fun times.
@NukaCola
I'd like them to reintroduce the games that spawned Demon's Souls. The Kings Field collection.
King's Field
King's Field II
King's Field III
Those games where unforgivably hard too. I remember dying 3 seconds after starting Kings Field III where you start beside magma crust.
I've beat all of these but seriously think others of the gaming community might enjoy these classics re...
I'm kinda upset. You still have to pay for it even if you don't want the other stuff. That means more games will be probably be locked in the future. Users shouldn't be restricted to backing up saves on USB devices. The data can be encrypted.
At least give some basic FREE space.
I wanted to see if that hybrid drive I have in my slim was worth what I paid. Looks like the +40 premium isn't doing much but causing extra heat and wear on the drive.
Noting that there are a lot of bad reviews about these hybrids I'm scared to think It just might suddenly crash. Based on these data sheets a standard 7200 low heat drive would probably have been a better choice.
I have this 500GB Momentus XT (Hybrid) installed on my slim now so far so ...
Probably, the character can set traps that hurt players in the same world. This would make the game extra hard because an area that you've been through several times may suddenly have something destructive that isn't normally available.
Let's say those messages that helped players in the first game. If your message was rated up you'd get full HP's. In this case if your trap kills someone in another world you get the bonus.
