"Still, quite a hassle having to download games that are +40gb in size."
Just to put things straight, I have no intentions of buying any of these things to break my PS3's. I'm looking at it from a side if I wanted to pirate.
Soda, A lot of the piracy in the movie industry is also pre-burned copies being sold on the streets. In this case a hardcore pirates could purchase a preloaded external HDD. They wouldn't need to download anything. All...
If it's the same hardware used to repair damaged PS3's (that have crashed firmware), wouldn't it be hard coded into the main board? If this is the case the device superceeds the firmware security and authentication mechanics.
I can see the firmware update blocking the unsigned code after an a firmware update but can the usb dongle allow a firmware downgrade or instalation of another unsigned firmware.
If it can defeat the firmware security enough...
Think about it, for every security patch it isn't just the people exploiting this that will feel the pain. The legitimate owners of consoles will also be required to update.
I don't know to much about hardware flash but I know constantly updating it will eventually burn it out like rechargeable batteries. From what I understand flash has a finite number of re-writes before it stops working. I know this number is huge but it doesn't last forever.
If you don't want to own the game you can rent or even barrow it.
If it's that bad let the developers suffer and don't buy/play it.
1. Money (The person/s who succeed can earn a quick $$ if not busted)
2. Pride and glory (The person or persons become famous & infamous)
3. Thrill of beating the system. (Sticking it to the man)
4. Being cheap. (The pirates that want to save money)
5. Wanting to get the most out of the hardware.
This is just a few reasons I'm sure they have other agendas for doing it.
I buy my games what I'd like is something to backup my protected saves.
Something a lot of people on N4G forget about is the over use of DRM to stop trophies abuse etc. I don't care for them trophies so I'd like to play my LEGAL games without being restricted to DRM that blocks my ability to backup saves or share them across my multiple consoles.
Some games are made a prisoner of the systems DRM capabilities. I don't aprove piracy but I also d...
On a game forum I access users can flat out rate you down simply for any reason. At least on N4G the bubble system has a reason for rate ups and rate downs.
The agree/disagree system is here just to let people vote on if you agree or disagree. It's not supposed to punish people or raise their stats. That's why the bubble system is separate.

But..
You're right a few are blurry and all of them are sideways or in an angle. It's so bad it distracts from the content.
So why does my copy protected dragon age on ps3 have drm that doesn't allow me to backup saves?
I own the game, I own the dl content and I purchased the game then the drm should be enough to stop access to the extra content. If the drm stops 3rd party users from sharing saves that's perfect because they can't use the dl content or earn trophies unless I am the original user.
I buy a game pre-order and the shop I buy it from says they had limited supply it's still first come first serve for the pre-orders.
When I got a system I bought a memory card before launch. I called the store up they said they only got 2 of them and there where 4 people that also FULLY paid for them. They explained that the memory cards would be given to the first 2 people to pick them up.
What's the point of pre-orders if you still need to rush to t...
This looks and sounds like a Mega Man clone.
I saw one a few days ago still open when I went to town. It's beside a college. I wonder why it's not closed if they've gone bankrupt.
I ordered 2 of these before seeing this on N4G. Hope they are worth it.
This is the restore mode video on youtube that explained everything.

In the Crossedge game Morrigan had wingless outfits. The bathing Suit for example has no wings.
Apparently, they're part of her outfit or she has the ability to mask them. In these pictures she looks human enough to me. A lot of games etc. have humans that are really demons take Demons Souls.

this is why the gaming industry is pushing for download and subscription gaming. If the content is download only they can limit the distribution and sell licenses instead of copies.
If the gaming industry starts selling licenses instead of the games then when the license can be reserved.
What about books? You can go to the public library and pick up 20 books do the publishers complain about each person that reads a book or charge a royalty for each book check...
One thing they never ask is "Will FF14 have improved or better customer support?"
FF11 has really bad CS, I had problems getting their service to except my credit card. I don't want anyone to get to excited dealing with FF11 CS has discouraged me from moving to 14. Just read the links.

I just finished watching the movies "The Invention of lying."
After reading this story I think about the way people acted in that movie. I actually thought the movie was based on total fiction but, after seeing this I'm safe to assume the movie has some reality to it.
PS2), Legendia (PS2), Abyss (PS2)
I bought Abyss last year and had more fun with it then the last 3 RPG's on PS3.
I'm still waiting for Tales of Vesperia for PS3.
@Seferoth75
As for the PS3 having lowest sales numbers that could be attributed to it getting sloppy seconds off the 360 limited exclusive rights. The majority of gamers who bought the 360 versions are comparable the same groups who watch movies at theaters instead o...
Who says the backed up games wouldn't be sold on a 2 GB cloned drive?
A 2 terabyte drive can hold almost(One hundred) 25gb games. They don't have to download them they can just sell those drives packed pre-loaded with/without the dongle. Pirite are bargin hunters willing to get products illigaly.
This doesn't mean they get stuff for free. They still need to invest some money some where. Getting 100 games that sale for $30-$60 each totaling aroun...
