Whats a comeback if you were never down? For PS3 fans to not acknowledge the lackluster sales of the PS3 is beyond me. It is currently in third place in this next gen war with the potential to sky rocket after E3. If it doesn't, it will fail going into the holiday season. E3 is critical to the short term success of the PS3. Forget the long term at this point as you need to take a war ... one battle at a time.
The problem wasn't the production of the PS3. It was the production of the diode for the blu ray drive. This has been resolved and this will lower production costs of the PS3. This is the intent of production. You guys have to understand the component nature of production. You don't decrease the cost of the system without decreasing the cost of each component. I know you know this blade which is why I was surprised at your quick to bash PS3 answer.

I think alot of people will be eating their words come E3 and yes I think E3 is where Sony starts to 'comeback'. Thats all I have to say about it.
I think Sony will need to do what Nintendo in the last E3. Remember the video comparing the Nintendo Wii line to the PS3 line. Sony needs to deliver on their first party content. I think its a lock in considering the positive feedback from Gamer's Day. Killzone shoud be their featured item, considering the amount of resources going into this. So according to your logic, Asia would be the biggest market assuming the PS3 and 360 are released in those respective countries (India and China). Frankly sir, Asia is not the biggest market. According to worldwide sales from the last two generations of consoles it has been North American and Europe markets that have driven the sales of both the PS2 and the PSOne to 100+ million numbers.

Europe is a very big continent consisting of many countries. North America from a sales angle is just the US and Canada. Asia is really just Japan.

The market price of the PS3 was just right to get over the launch hump and provide the console at a permium price. MS probably will be showing Banjo and Kazooie 3, Halo RTS, probably another game from RARE. I don't think they will be doing Perfect Dark again as the 360 is just overloaded with shooters. They might do another Conker game but then again they have a platformer in Banjo. Maybe a Conker online game? That would be sweet! Fable 2 will have some spotlight also ....

I for one am not spinning this as positive news. The only thing is that it shouldn't come as shock to anyone as it was announced in April.
I for one will admit that Ken got what he deserved as should any CEO that overpromises and doesn't deliver on those promises. He is a good tech guy. He is not a good business man. He let exclusives go through his hands. He wasn't able to work with Sir Howard Stringer and he didn't know when to keep his mouth shut.
It is very important that Guerilla adds something different to the FPS experience. Halo is Halo, Quake is Quake, Unreal is Unreal. What differentiates Killzone? What features will seperate this title from the rest. I for one think the graphics will be better than Halo but game is not just about the looks.
If its a straight shooter, it will be categorized as another Resistance Fall of Man.
