Halo 3 is one. Mass Effect is NOT the other one. I know I know, a lot of people will disagree. I think Bioshock has more of a chance than Mass Effect. Not too sure about Ass Creed now.
Why is MGS4 and FF13 coming out in 08? The same reason why GTIV is coming out in 08.

By the way, this completely voids Peter Moore's comment at E3 about the 360 getting the 3 top selling franchises in 2007. Looks like its just Halo and Madden this year. This is BAD news for the 360 although generally BAD news for fans of the series.

I've heard people comment on maybe Sony using this format for the PSP2. Isn't it a little premature for that? Maybe not, we could only wish. 7.5GB of data for a hand held is great!
Maybe they could find someway for these mini-Blu Rays to be played on the PS3. Play your PSP2 on the go. When at home, you could throw this sucker onto the PS3, transfer the save to the PS3 and continue playing. Interesting indeed.

For Mushroom sakes people, its the Japs that have created this game and have chosen this setting. I'm not sure if the world is geographically inclined but there are Africans in Africa. A majority of the Africans happen to be 'black'. I personally hate saying the world 'black' because I'm Indian. Shoot ... we cover the spectrum of white to brown to black.
Games like Lair and Heavenly Sword just scream out next generation. This is why I bought the PS3. Not to discredit fine software like Gears but these games def raise the graphical bar. Along with graphics, the games also expose complex phsyics and macro/micro level details (Lair specifically). Its not hard anymore to envision massive and explorable world where the detail looks just as good up close as far away.Tilt the hat to Ninja Theory and Factor 5.
As its ruining football games. Give the NFL license to 2K sports again and see the competition rekindle like we had with NFL2K versus Madden on the PS2.

Looking for a friendly debate? I do agree that Jap gaming is evolving but unfortunetly, the 360 hardware isn't. I blame it on two things.
1. US produced hardware competing with 2 Jap based hardware
2. The controllers are too bulky for Jap gamers
I think the next Xbox should be desgined by the MS Jap engineering team (if there is one). I'm a proud America but our engineering is questionable. Just my opinion of course.

Now, if the PS3 version was dragging down the 360 version and the 360 version was ahead by 2 weeks, why would there be an 8 month delay? It was expected to be released Q4 of 07 right? It is not because the PS3 version was having problems. OK, amuse me. So Take Two would delay both versions for PS3 issues? If this is the argument, than it doesn't bode well for Microsoft and their relationship with Take Two. Why doesn't Take Two just release it on the 360 if its more ready?
