The Wii can kiss my high def @ss!
There has not been one game on the Wii that has interested me. I will not tarnish my hi def setup for a stupid Wii.
As long as the Wii is categorized with the PS3 and the 360, it will always be a threat to core gamers.

Lair and Warhawk. These two games are just scratching the surface of PS3 potential. I bought the 360 for games of 'NOW. I bought the PS3 for games of 'TOMORROw'. Since I bought it to be a 7 year investment, I know I'll get my return on investment real soon. The only reason I've kept my 360 is because of Gears of War.

It is an exclusivity agreement. It will stay exclusive to the 360 until the agreement is over. This means that no one will confirm anything for any platform at this point in time. It might come to the PS3 but don't bank on it. MS is trying to establish its own franchises developed by third parties like the MGS and FF series for Sony
getting this for the PS3 instead of the 360 because of the preference of a PS3 controller over the 360 controller on 2D fighting games. I'm assuming the arcade stick for VF5 on the 360 will work on this game....
It wouldn't make much business sense to release it this year. I didn't say, never release. I think like Bioshock, it will release on rival consoles eventually. Hopefully, with improvements. Do I think a PS3 Bioshock will be better than the current release, yes. I also think the same way for a Haze 360 release.
Couldn't a 4 player co-op be possible using the distributed computing features of the cell. I could see how the CPU load of 4 player co-op will be intensive. Leveraging the cycles of each player to power the co-op game would be a first and most def a possibility.
For Haze to be PS3 exclusive. 360 owners would most certainly pick Halo 3 over Haze any day of the week.
Just like Bioshock was announced for all platforms, Haze will be one console only for a period of time. It will sell on the PS3 as PS3 owners are just hungry for more games. The 360 is ripe with top quality shooters right now.
A battle lost for Sony? Yes it is. The goal of the price cut was to take July. It didn't. So now what? Don't expect another price cut until Sony analyzes August and September NPD numbers.
Its been a couple days of negativity for Sony. Warhawk + HS reviews are mediocre and they didn't take July.
If I were Sony, I'd market the crap out of HS. Despite the mediocre reviews, it will be a system seller if marketed right.

Sony also has engineers working with the Crytek crew in optimizing the engine for the PS3 I believe the Crytek engine is a viable and marketable platform for other developers ala Epic. I'm all for this as I feel that too many games are powered by the Unreal Engine. Its not a bad thing but competition on game engines is also a great thing.
if selling an unopened box of FF7 goes for $500.00 on EBAY, you know there is demand for it. Don't be stupid Square, its one of the most successful FF games (if not the most). It deserves a second look by new gamers!

Most people will respond and say ... "Where are the AAA titles"? Its going to be right in my PS3 when I boot them up.

You are either going to get it or you are not. Those that have the PS3 have the option of getting it. Those that do not have a PS3 do not. What I just stated is the obvious yet is the bottom line. If I'm going to buy it, I know full well that its going to be 6-8 hours of gameplay just like the games that I bought previously with similar low gameplay times (God of War and Gears of War).

Don't just read the title, please read the article and also base your conclusions on multiple sources and not just one.
First of all, I don't think Capcom is one of those companies that will draw straws to determine which format is inferior. Second of all, the DMC series needs an injection of innovation. That's the more important issue.
It seems to me FirstKnight and BS3 that you boys have an appetite for failure. It only makes sense. The better the games for the PS3 the more your one-track mind is uneasy.
Review it for what it is. If its short, its short. This was a decision made by Factor 5. Ribbing on Blue ray for 6-8 hours of gameplay is a thoughtless conclusion. What doesn't make sense to me is that you complain on gameplay length and your not going to even play the game.
And I agree with you. I think too many people drank the review Kolaid. A 10 score is genre defining. This is NOT a 10.
