greatest game of all time. So many genres and so many game types. I would say its the greatest FPS of all time w/o multiplayer. Does this game turn the industry upside down? Games like Mario, Pacman, and Halo made huge impact in this industry. Is Bioshock one of them? Maybe ... The game isn't even released yet and people are touting it as the greatest title of all time.
If there is a market for 3 consoles, there can be one with 2 formats (short term). A format war is bad because it causes confusion. In one way its good because it keeps both sides honest. How else will the price go down?
Blu Ray in my opinion will win at the end, just like I envision the PS3 winning in the long run. You guys have to look past the length of your nose. Its going to be a long battle .. both on the format and console fronts.

be a PS3 owner but you are sooooooo biased to one side on this site. You equate Blu Ray to PS3 and HD DVD to the 360 yet most people on this site proclaim the freedom of choice that MS gives you.

I have both. Seriously though, not good news for Blu Ray only owners. Transformers and Shrek the Third. Those are two big titles.

1. Generic missions. Its kind of limiting what you can do with a dragon, no? Ever played the Star War Rogue Squadron games back on the Gamecube? limited, no? If its not your cup of tea, don't drink it. I personally loved Rogue Squadron and its limited, story based 'missions'.

Can't imagine playing without the six axis controls now. The sniper scope is very cool. Its as steady as your hands and adds to the realism of the game.
This coupled with a Madden advertisement blitz with nice big old Xbox 360 symbol at the end of it. If its not 2K sports than I hope they bring back NFL GameDay. Build it for the PS3. Blow the subpar Madden out of the water.

I loved the demo. It also demontrates the abilities of the six axis controls which is quite impressive. Imagine moving your controling to hone in on an unsuspecting enemy. You control the scope through your controller. Tilt the control left to roll left. Tilt it right to roll right. Move the controller down to position the player on the ground. Move the controller up to get him either in a standing or crouching position. Move the controler forward while running to jump to the ground ....

Because of the demo, I'm getting the game. Before making comments, play the darn game. Some gamers might not like it but using the control to guide the sniper scope is cool. Anyone else think so?

Have played the demo on both versions? You are going to base your conclusions on screengrabs taken at different times of day? I've PLAYED both and the PS3 version is marginally smoother than the 360 version.

He's not creating a XBLA game is he? Ok, I could understand the not dieing part. I could even understand a one button system (this could work). One thing I loved about the original Fable was the features. You dictate the character development. As long as that is retained, I'm buying it. Polish is good. How long has this game been in development? Less features at this point better mean one heck of a polished game.
I've said it before, its too important that fighting games do not have lag. The last thing I want to do is adjust my timing for lag vs non-lag matches. I use Akira religiously and rely on the SPOD. I've been working on perfecting that move since VF3 on the Dreamcast.
Anyway, I've got VF5 on my PS3. 360 owners enjoy the game. Enjoy the lag. Any VF fan can tell you that this game requires split second timing. More so than Tekken and DOA.
