@Behind: it was both imo. Sony took a risk with Cell but MS had a great exclusive game line up as well.
In the end, the X360/PS3 era remains the best era for me gamewise. Both were awesome.

Kinda strange really, MS had a good thing going with the 360, gamewise at least. But all went downhill since then. Got a 360 but never bought the Xbox One.
For me PS2 -PS1- PS5 -PS4. Never owned a PS3, PSP or Vita.
This depends on the game. I always play racing games online (multiplayer), same with soccer games. Games like Red Dead, Cyberpunk, GTA,… I prefer in single player. Diablo-like games I kinda like both ways but in co-op mode and with 2 others max.
Well, before I got a smartTV I used my Xbox 360 to watch netflix as well. X360 also had great games tho 😁
My point was, you CAN have great hardware on it’s own, but it’s basicly worthless without great games. When you have a 4080gtx and play a shitty game, that doesn’t make the 4080gtx shitty.
Having great or poor games doesn’t change the specs of hardware so on it’s own hardware can be great without games but it would be pointless.

Nope. Bought a PS4 pro at the time, can’t say it was worth the investment to be honest. And we haven’t seen the full potential of the PS5 yet, so I don’t see the point at this moment.
90% of the games I buy are physical. The other 10% are mostly indies.

Max lvl is 100 and beta only goes to lvl 25 so your statement is a bit premature imo. Rhykker also mentioned that the sorc and rogue felt OP, but barb was closing the powergab when reaching close to lvl 25 after an underwhelming start.
Besides, it’s a beta and the game isn’t released until june. Plenty of time to balance stuff out.

To be honest, I upgraded from PS4 to PS4 pro at the time and it felt like not worth the investment when looking back on it now. Both PS5 and SeriesX are much stronger hardware wise than PS4/Xbox one then. So I’m not interested even if the midgen upgrades would come.
I’m confident GTA6 will be great. Will it be the best GTA in the series remains to be seen and is a matter of personal taste imo.
