Outside the US, the Move demos were free downloads on PSN.
Who knows who the disagreers are - mostly people with nothing to say but still want to say it I guess.

Well as long as there is a market for existing non-motion style games then someone will cater for it.
Either way, while motion gaming might become the default in future, the Kinect/Wii/Move systems won't be the ones that do away with current gaming mechanisms.
Look at Wii, it's sold a bucket load of consoles but attach rates are low and the highest rated and biggest selling games (excluding pack ins like Sports & Resort) don't use or require m...
Shame you weren't ejaculating on a GT5 disk - at least that would mean it'd been released. In fact, ejaculating on a non-changing release date would do!

HTC Desire (Froyo). The phone hardware itself is ok, but the OS and Apps are poor.
The thing seems to have very poor battery life unless every "smart phone" function is disabled (no syncing, no gps, lighting at min), the apps lack a common approach and interface and crash a lot, and the games are far less polished than their iPhone counterparts. Oh, and the touch screen/keyboard isn't as accurate as the iPhone either - but that's hardware/firmware I guess. ...
Another good year for FM by the looks of things - time to get the order in I guess.
I wish though this yearly release cycle would end though - Madden, Fifa, PES, NBA etc - I wish they'd drop the year cycle and go to a 2 year cycle with interleaved data pack drops.
A year is just too short a time to properly implement and deploy some of the major changes required in these games. A 2 year cycle would allow the platform to be genuinely improved, while the da...
I switched to an Android phone (HTC) from an iPhone a few months back.
Big mistake.... Wish I'd just got an iPhone 4 now :/
I hope Sony can do something better with it then we have now.
r.
Nah - especially not with Sony who aren't the fastest at getting things out the door.
Earliest will be next Christmas, but I'd anticipate 2012 before it is available in reasonable numbers - it'll take that long to get the games ready.
On that point though, I think Sony should look to achieve 100% backwards compatibility. That was a big stumbling point for PS3 out the blocks - that will at least give people a library of (old) games to play on their...
Oh man.... Whatever company makes cue cards and auto prompters for MS must have made a killing.
This was just an advert stuck in the middle of the show - there's just no sincerity in it at all. Coupled with yet another bad sync up between movement and game.
So does this mean Kinetic doesn't work for Lesbians in addition to Black people, anyone sitting, anyone wearing clothes, anyone who doesn't speak Californian, anyone with long hair, anyone who ...
Literal translation : Quality doesn't matter, we're just going to batter people into submission with our marketing budget.
Well, at least MS isn't deluding themselves about who the audience for this is - it's just some people here who are deluded.

Euphoria : a feeling of happiness, confidence, or well-being sometimes exaggerated in pathological states as mania.
Is he saying Kinect purchasers are mentally disturbed? Wow.

I concur - a blackout of Kinect news would be great. After all this is News4Gamers - Kinect isn't for us anyway.

360 was at around 6 million at the PS3 launch.
Now it's less than 3 so I guess MS has taken that one year market advantage and turned it into < 6 months...
Either way, well done Sony for doing good business during a deep recessionary period.
Now, about that GT5 release date.....
r.
I'd say that is the wrong way round.
Historically games were multiplayer affairs, with sp being a small portion so really SP gaming has bitten into the traditional multiplayer market.
Card games, boardgames all mostly multiplayer. Then look at video games - some of the most popular arcade games were mutli - fighters, racers - even Space Invaders got a muliplayer variant and the largely SP arcade games were really multiplayer due to the scoreboard competit...
I think you'll get one cheaper somewhere in mid-January if you still want one then. Probably be used, but not much by then of course....

Looks like the bleeding won't stop for the PSP - regardless of the great games it's got recently or the free game offers or even a price cut.
It seems like outside Japan the system is more or less dead.
r.
Well the Wii was difficult to get hold of and that strangled sales at launch and for about 18 months afterward.
The Kinect is supposedly difficult to get hold of unless you're in the Oprah audience - once Kinect launches this site is News 4 Granma's lol.

You mean he's talking out of his ass?

Of course, Old folks and babies gotta game too.

This and the Shoot don't seem to be that good :/
I'd prefer House of the Dead Overkill 2 or something.
r.
And by extension it presumably shows that 360 owners don't care about it. Which still leads me to wonder who has placed all these preorders? Or are they really "sold out" due to giveaways?
